According to The Center for Disease Control, the leading cause of death in the U.S. is heart disease at 700,000 people per year. However it leaves out an important part. What is the leading cause of death of a life in the U.S.? ABORTION at over 1.1 million lives per year. Statistic show that the last 5 years over 5.2 million lives were killed in the 'category' of abortion.
In worldwide abortions, the estimate is roughly 73 million abortions per year, or about 365 million over five years.

If this doesn't grieve your heart I don't know what will. We must protect the unborn and the born the same. We are all created in the image of a holy God.

2 Peter 3:9: Reveals God's desire, noting that He is "not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance".

The invitation:
Today, God is not calling us to shame. He is calling us to surrender. Not merely to feel bad about sin, but to turn from it and turn toward Him. The same grace that forgives us is the grace that transforms us. And the kindness of God is still leading people to repentance.
