Take care that we don’t become trivial Christians, a reflection of the shallow culture of our times. We not only need God’s truth, but its depth. Paul writes in 2 Tim 2:7, “Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.” It takes effort to think deeply, but the rewards are substantial and consequential.

Due to anticipated snowfall and bitter cold, all church services are cancelled on Sun 1/26/26. See everyone next week. Stay safe and warm!

Due to snow, slick roads, and sub-zero windchills, all services for Sun 12/14 are canceled. Please plan to attend Sun 12/21 church breakfast beginning at 9:30a. We still need people to bring some casseroles or similar and any baked items (except donuts). And we’ll not turn away bacon or sausage.

It’s been a few Sundays since Harvest last welcomed Bro. Scott Hauskins. Lord willing, Sun 6/22 he will preach at 10:40a at our church located at 4285 E Main St in Avon, IN. His online ministry, assisting in revival services, and traveling to our church and others to preach keeps him busy. He’s answers the call, which is seen and appreciated. Join us to hear the Word proclaimed.
