Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today we celebrate and honor dads, grandpas, stepdads, foster dads, spiritual fathers, mentors, and all the men who have helped guide, encourage, protect, and invest in others.

We also recognize that Father’s Day can be complicated for many. Some are missing their dad today. Some have strained relationships. Some have experienced loss. Some long to be fathers but have not had that opportunity. Wherever you find yourself today, please know that you are seen, valued, and loved.

We’re grateful for the men who reflect God’s love through their presence, sacrifice, wisdom, and care. And we’re thankful for our Heavenly Father, whose love never fails and whose faithfulness never ends.

“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.” — Psalm 103:13

This Sunday is Father’s Day, and we’ll be celebrating and honoring dads and father figures during the service. Whether you’re a dad, have a dad, miss your dad, or Father’s Day is complicated for you, we believe God has something meaningful for you this weekend.

Today we pause to recognize and celebrate Juneteenth—a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and reminds us of the God-given dignity, worth, and value of every person.

As a church, we celebrate the beauty of God’s diverse family and continue to pray and work toward a world that reflects His heart for justice, unity, and reconciliation.

“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
— Galatians 3:28

Today, we remember the past, celebrate freedom, and look forward with hope as we continue to follow Jesus together.

Today was one of those days that reminds us that church is so much more than a service we attend—it's a family we belong to. We loved worshiping together this morning and then spending the afternoon laughing, eating, talking, and making memories at our All-Church Picnic.

A huge THANK YOU to Tatiana for all of the planning, coordination, and hard work that went into making today such a success. We are grateful for your heart to serve and for helping create opportunities for our church family to connect. 👏❤️

To everyone who came, brought food, helped set up, cleaned up, and simply spent time together—thank you for making today special!

And if you weren't able to join us today, you were missed. We truly mean that. Journey Church isn't the same without you, and we can't wait to see you next Sunday.
