On the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary our parish sponsored meals for local people in need.

Every day, we share the names of those in our community who were kind enough to sponsor the day's meals at St. Vincent de Paul Kitchen.

For a donation of $125, you, or your family, business, community organization, or church group can become a sponsor. You may also sponsor the day’s meals in memory of a loved one.

Come celebrate the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 12, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Dupont, PA! The Diocesan Celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the USA will take place here in Dupont on that day. Every parishioner is encouraged to make a special effort to celebrate our parish’s patronal feast day in some way.

Our Feast Day Schedule
7:30 a.m., Mass, followed by Eucharistic Exposition and First Friday devotional prayers.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Eucharistic Adoration concluding with Benediction.
A sign-up sheet for adorers is in the narthex

5:30 p.m., Mass with devotional prayers led by Bishop Bambera, consecrating our diocese and country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

6:30 p.m., A potluck social will be enjoyed by all under a tent in our picnic grove. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish or some type of food for everyone to share (a food sign-up sheet is in the narthex).

Our Confraternity of Christian Mothers will decorate the grounds and organize the event, and our Holy Name Society will provide the beverages. A buffet will be arranged for the food that you bring, and everyone can sample the various foods and enjoy a nice evening of fellowship, family, faith and music – free of charge.

Let’s gather as a parish family to pray and share a meal together with our Bishop and guests from throughout the diocese!

Live out your faith and share the Good News! ✨

Our two parishes have been invited by Fr. Petro and the Diocesan Office for Parish Life to participate in the Genesis Mission, an inspiring evangelization initiative designed to help ordinary Catholics confidently and naturally share their faith with others.

Through seven short sessions, participants will:
🙏 Deepen their relationship with Jesus
🙏 Grow in faith
🙏 Learn simple ways to talk about God in everyday life
🙏 Discover how ordinary moments can become sacred encounters

Summer sessions are now forming and will meet on Tuesdays from June 16 through July 28:
🕝 2:30 – 4 p.m.
or
🕖 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Come discover how God can work through everyday conversations and encounters to bring others closer to Christ.
