Whatever season you're walking through, we all need the reminder that our hope isn't found in having all the answers or getting our circumstances just right. Our hope is found in Jesus.

Join us for Beholding Christ: An Evening with Nancy Guthrie, as Nancy takes us on a journey through God's Word, showing us how the whole story of Scripture points to Jesus—who He is, what He's done, and why He is enough for whatever we're facing.

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”
— Colossians 4:2 ESV

We've spent this month learning what it means to be women who are prayer-dependent.

To bring everything to God. To draw near to Him. To surrender our plans and trust His will.

And now, the invitation is to keep praying.

Not just when life feels overwhelming or we need answers, but in the ordinary moments of every day.

Prayer isn't simply something we do. It's an ongoing expression of our dependence on God.

🌿 This week, ask yourself:

What is one simple way I can make prayer a more consistent part of my everyday life?

Father,

Thank You that Your wisdom is greater than ours and Your plans are always good.

We confess that sometimes we hold tightly to our own expectations and struggle to surrender what we want.

Teach us to seek Your will above our own. Give us wisdom when the way forward is unclear, patience when we're waiting, and courage to follow You even when the path looks different than we imagined.

Help us trust not only what You are doing, but who You are.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done.

Amen.

It's easy to ask God to bless the plans we've already made.

But what if we invited Him to lead us before we made them?

🌿 Take one small step today.

Think about one decision you're facing, a situation you're trying to navigate, or something you're hoping will work out a certain way.

Before you make another plan or try to figure out the next step, pause and pray:

“Father, I trust that Your ways are better than mine. Give me wisdom to see what honors You, a willing heart to follow Your leading, and peace as I trust You with the outcome.”

Being prayer-dependent means learning to seek God's will, not simply asking Him to accomplish ours.

Small rhythms become deep roots.

Becoming Women Who Are Prayer Dependent 🤍

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18

Prayer isn't just something we do. It's how we live.

Becoming women who are prayer dependent means learning to turn to God throughout our day—not just when life feels overwhelming or we need something from Him.

We don't have to wait for the perfect moment or the right words. We can bring Him our worries, our gratitude, our decisions, and even the ordinary moments of our day.

Prayer dependence isn't about praying perfectly. It's about recognizing our need for God and learning to walk with Him in every circumstance.

Sometimes the hardest part of prayer is simply beginning.

We wonder what to say, how to say it, or whether our concerns are even worth bringing to God.

But Hebrews 4:16 reminds us that because of Jesus, we can approach God with confidence.

🌿 Take one small step today.

Set aside five minutes to talk with God. No agenda. No perfect words. Just come honestly.

Tell Him what's on your heart, where you need His help, and what you're grateful for.

Then spend a few moments quietly reflecting on His Word.

Prayer begins with drawing near.

Sometimes we hesitate to come to God in prayer. We don't know what to say, what to ask, or where to begin.

But because of Jesus, we can approach God with confidence.

We don't need perfect words or all the answers. He invites us to bring our needs, questions, and struggles to Him, knowing we will find mercy and grace.

🌿 This week, ask yourself:

Where do I need God's grace and help right now—and have I brought it to Him in prayer?

Pray first.

Our first response isn't always prayer.

Sometimes it's worry. Sometimes it's trying to fix things ourselves. Sometimes it's reaching for our phones to ask someone else what they think.

But what if we learned to pause and pray first?

🌿 Take one small step today.

The next time something weighs on your mind, before you start figuring out what to do, take a moment to bring it to God.

It doesn't have to be a long or perfectly worded prayer. Simply begin:

“Father, You know what I'm facing. Help me trust You, give me wisdom, and guide my next step.”

Then move forward, remembering that you don't have to navigate it on your own.
