I think one of the easiest ways for our faith to become stale is to forget just how incredible it is to know Jesus.

Not just know about Him.
Not just go to church.
Not just believe the right things or go through the motions.

Actually KNOW Him.

Paul says in Philippians 3:8 that everything else is a loss compared to “the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus.”

Think about that.

Of everything we could accomplish, experience, earn, or achieve in this life, nothing compares to the privilege of knowing Jesus.

I want to keep coming back to that.

The greatest honor of my life isn’t what I do for God. It’s that I get to know Him.

And I think that’s one of the keys to keeping our faith fresh—a thriving, growing, intimate relationship with Jesus.

That’s what really matters.
