SAFETY TRAINING TODAY!

Calling all First Austin volunteers! 📣 If you work with minors or plan to volunteer with our youth programs, this mandatory training session is for you.

Here are the key details you need to know:

🗓️ Event Details
-Date: Monday, August 31
-Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
-Platform: Online via Zoom 💻
-Bonus: All attendees will be entered into an exciting prize drawing! 🎟️

🔒 Why It Matters
Creating a safe, supportive space for our kids is our highest priority. This workshop is strictly required for all adult volunteers working directly with minors.

👥 Can't Make It live?
Don't worry! If you have a scheduling conflict, a full recording of the workshop will be emailed directly to your inbox so you can stay fully up to date.

WEAR YOUR FBC SPIRIT!

We’re making this a church T-shirt Sunday! Dig into the back of your closet and pull out your favorite FBC shirt. The more vintage, the better. We want to see the history of our church represented in all its wonderfully questionable T-shirt glory.

Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to reconnect. We’re starting a new semester together, and we can’t wait to see what this fall holds for our community.

Whether you’ve been away for the summer or are looking for a community to call home, we cannot wait to see you this Sunday! We are kicking off a wonderful new season together, and there is a place at the table just for you.

Here is what we have lined up:

Our Shady Springs All Church Playdate was the perfect afternoon of fun in the sun. From cooling off in the pool to singing our hearts out at karaoke, we loved getting to connect and unwind together.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, brought their appetite, and joined in on the games and frozen drinks! And special thanks to the Densons for hosting us ❤️

Join us this Sunday, August 16, for our Blessing of the School Year! We want to celebrate all of our students, teachers, and school staff as we head into a brand-new year of learning, growth, and community. 🎉

🚨LAST CHANCE TO BUY SHADY SPRINGS MEAL TICKETS IS TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY)!‼️

💦Summer isn't over until we've gathered at Shady Springs!🦩

Join us for one of our favorite church traditions as we spend the evening swimming in the cool, spring-fed pool, singing karaoke, playing games, enjoying dominoes under the shade trees, and soaking up time together. With rolling grassy hills, a kiddie pool, and a basketball court, there's something for everyone! 🎤😎🎲

This year we're serving up a catered Chuy's dinner! Meal tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children. Adult tickets include one adult beverage. Kids can enjoy frozen slushies, too! 🌮

Meal tickets are only for those who plan to eat—you don't need to purchase one to join the party. Come swim, relax, and enjoy the evening with us, even if you're not having dinner. Just bring your favorite dessert to share, and we'll take care of the rest. 🧁
