Following the inaugural 2024 tour, Interfaith Alliance is hitting the road again in a nonpartisan effort to mobilize diverse faith communities, protect voting rights, and equip local leaders to defend our democratic process.

We're hosting a breakfast program, press conference and rally followed by a tailgate (location and time TBD) for the Texas/Ole Miss game on October 24. You’ll hear from national and local leaders as we stand together in solidarity for democracy and civic participation. "

This Sunday we are excited to welcome Mary Street Wilson into our pulpit!
"I have had two vocations in my life; mathematics teacher and professor, and pastor of Church of the Savior for 18 years. After my retirement from Church of the Savior, I worked on a few grant projects, served on the board of trustees for Chicago Theological Seminary, volunteered as a facilitator for a trauma/moral injury support group, and became the founding director of ChrysalisQ, a non-profit for LGBTQIA+ families."
"I am the proud mother of two adult daughters and a ridiculously happy grandma of six grandchildren. My spouse, Bet McDaniel and I, have happily shared a life together for over 30 years. We have recently completed our first documentary, 'Work that Matters: LGBTQ+ Advocacy in Texas'"

"Praise the One Who Makes Us One" sung by the University Baptist Church Chancel Choir in our worship service on Sunday, September 27, 2026
Jonathan Castillo, UBC Minister of Music and Outreach

"Praise the One Who Makes Us One"
Music: Tom Trenney
Text: Rusty Edwards

Praise the One who breaks the darkness with a liberating light.
Praise the One who frees the prisoners turning blindness into sight.
Praise the One who preached the Gospel, curing every dread disease,
calming storms, and feeding thousands with the very bread of peace.

Praise the One who blessed the children with a strong yet gentle word.
Praise the One who drove out demons with a piercing two-edged sword.
Praise the One who brings cool water to the desert’s burning sand.
From this well comes living water, quenching thirst in every land.

Praise the One true love incarnate Christ, who suffered in our place.
Jesus died and rose for many that we may know God by grace.
Let us sing for joy and gladness, seeing what our God has done.
Praise the One redeeming glory. Praise the One who makes us one.
