The House Of Refuge The House of Refuge Church was founded in 1976 in Aurora, Illinois by Rev. Virgil L Black. Currently The House of Refuge has 2 locations for services.

Rev Virgil L Black was called by God in a vision to create The House Refuge church in which he would be the Pastor. From that point on Rev Virgil L Black began teaching and preaching the Word of God. Our main location is 218 N View St Aurora, IL 60506. At this location we have Monday and Wednesday 12 pm prayer and Tuesday Night Comprehensive Bible Study at 7 pm Our other location is 141 N State St

Aurora, IL 60505. At this location we have Sunday School 9:30 am, Sunday Worship & Kingdom Crusade service 12 pm, Thursday night Corporate Prayer 7 pm.
