Traditionally the Church dedicates the month of August to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and today, August 15th we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

As we celebrate our Blessed Mother today and this month, you are invited to attend Holy Mass this weekend, light a candle for your children in the church under the Mary Statue, or say this prayer together as a family at home. Entrusting your children to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is a beautiful way to begin the school year, seeking her maternal protection, guidance, and comfort for your entire family.

The Novena to the Sacred Heart begins today, June 3rd! Join in the novena to pray and help prepare for our own Consecration to the Sacred Heart and in preparation for the Bishops of the United States to Consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus!
