Mercy Center Auburn is partnering with Sacramento-area hospitals to bring something their nursing staff rarely get: two days of genuine restoration, professional development, and support through one of the most demanding seasons of their careers.

If your nurses are in midlife — and statistically, many of them are — they're likely navigating the menopausal transition while managing some of the heaviest professional and personal loads of their lives. Burnout isn't a possibility. For many, it's already the reality.

Making Sense of Menopause is a two-day CEU-eligible retreat designed specifically for healthcare professionals. It combines evidence-based education on the menopausal transition with real rest, nourishing meals, and peaceful surroundings in the Sierra foothills.

Your staff will return with practical tools, renewed energy, and the kind of resilience that doesn't come from a wellness app.

Some of the patterns that create difficulties in our relationships (and lives) may actually have started out as survival skills.

Those strategies may have helped us stay safe when we were children. As adults, however, they may be obstacles to our ability to enjoy healthy, supportive relationships.

Join us Saturday, June 27 for a one-day retreat led by Reverend Jeff Paul, where we'll explore healthier, more honest, and more life-giving ways of relating.

This one's for the nurses! 🩺

What if menopause wasn't just something to survive — but an opportunity to cultivate real strength, resilience, and insight?

For too long, the conversation around menopause has focused almost entirely on symptoms to manage and changes to endure. But midlife is also a threshold — and how we move through it matters.

Making Sense of Menopause is a two-day CEU-eligible retreat at Mercy Center Auburn that takes a different approach.

Yes, you'll earn those CEUs! But these aren't classroom hours. This is education wrapped in two days of genuine restoration — healthy meals, peaceful surroundings in the Sierra foothills, time to breathe, and space to tend to your own mind, body, and spirit.

You'll leave with a deeper understanding of the menopausal transition — the hormonal shifts, the weight changes, the impact on bone and muscle health, the emotional landscape — and practical tools to support both yourself and your patients through it.

August 29–30 | Auburn, CA
CEUs included | Meals and lodging included | Scholarship funding available

Healthy relationships begin with compassion.

Compassion for others...and compassion for ourselves.

Some of the patterns that create difficulty in our relationships may have started as ways to stay safe, cope, or survive. But what once protected us may later keep us from the honesty, trust, and connection we long for.

Join us Saturday, June 27 for From Codependency to Interdependency, a one-day retreat with Reverend Jeff Paul exploring healthier, more life-giving ways of relating to ourselves, to God, and to others.

PLEASE SHARE WITH THE NEW NURSES IN YOUR LIFE! 🎓🩺

The transition from nursing school to real-world nursing can be exhilarating, meaningful… and incredibly hard.

Many nurses say they wish someone had helped them prepare not just clinically—but emotionally, physically, and spiritually—for the realities of the profession.

That’s why we are so thrilled to be partnering with Dr. Alice Vestergaard and Nancy Symons, MDiv, MA, to offer Soul & Scrubs™: A Holistic Survival Guide for New Graduate Nurses.

This one-day retreat is designed specifically for new grads who want to begin their careers with greater resilience, balance, and support. Through guided practices, reflection, and practical tools, participants will learn how to care for themselves while caring for others.
