A first-century Jewish apostle, a medieval English mystic, and you, in 21st century North America. Different worlds, different centuries — and yet the questions Paul and Julian were wrestling with are still the ones we're asking now.

That's what makes this retreat feel both very old and very new: ancient wisdom, encountered fresh, in your own life, right now.

Join us September 4th through 8th for a contemplative retreat infused by the works of Paul of Tarsus & Julian of Norwich, facilitated by Deacon Red Cheever.

The creative energy of these artist-retreatants radiates through the whole campus — you can feel it in the studio, in the chapel, even just walking past.

Intrigued? This amazing experience is not limited to professional artists. If you're looking to create a sacred space in which to do your creative work, this is for you.

Christine Jurisich spent over ten years as a TV news reporter before her life took an unplanned turn. When she stepped away from that career, the transition was harder than she expected. That experience ultimately led to a Master's in Theology and training as a spiritual director.

This September, she's back at Mercy Center Auburn to lead a day-long retreat for anyone in the middle of a change, whether it's one you saw coming or one that caught you off guard. Join us!

Two visionaries, centuries apart, both experiencing a radical encounter with the Risen Christ.

This September, join Deacon Red Cheever for a retreat exploring the mysticism of Paul of Tarsus and Julian of Norwich — through silence, deep reading, and facilitated discussion of the texts that shaped their experience of Christ.

Expect a deeply meaningful encounter with ancient wisdom, made new through introspection and shared reflection.
