Newnan UTH started the school year with one of our favorite traditions: BITE NITE! It's a scavenger hunt throughout downtown Newnan and a great opportunity for new members to meet returning. Now we're excited to be into our regular devotional time at UTH, Sundays at 6pm. We hope you'll join us. But not THIS Sunday, it's a holiday weekend! We'll see you on the 13th.

We're also back on Wednesday mornings Truett's Chick-fil-A - Newnan for Biscuits & Bibles. Join us for devotional time at 7am!

We've spent the last 6 Sundays in the Parish Hall, 3 more than originally anticipated. We miss our sacred Sanctuary space, and yet these Sundays felt special in their own way, as if the change brought us even closer. And that special feeling was present as we had an infant baptism this past Sunday. We love any chance to welcome a new baby (and all of course) into the fold at Newnan First UMC!

As Rev. Andrew said in his sermon, God says any outsider who loves Him will be ushered in with joy to the holy mountain of God. You can watch the whole service (with baptism) on YouTube, or listen to the sermon on this week's episode of our podcast.

Tomorrow is a BIG DAY at Newnan First UMC. Grab your hats & boots and join us for food, fun, and fellowship at the Church Picnic!

It's a country-western theme, and we'll have smoked brisket, baked beans, salad and dessert (plus corn dogs & chips for the kids).

The picnic is immediately following our 11:00am worship service, which will be on the Parish Hall (hopefully for the last time. We are grateful to the crew that's been working hard on our sanctuary!).
