Georgia dedicated its first Safe Haven Baby Boxes today.

This is what HB 350 made possible. From the beginning throughout the process, Frontline stood alongside State Rep. Mike Cameron and Sen. Brian Strickland, who sponsored the legislation and carried it across the finish line.

The first Baby Box in the state exists because of the vision of Frontline ally Amie Anderson and the support of her Pastor Jeff Daws and Stockbridge Community Church.

A Baby Box gives a mother in crisis a safe, legal place to leave her child. It says her child's life has value, and so does hers. This is what it looks like to show the love of God to a mother and her baby: not judgment, but a door held open. "Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless" (Isaiah 1:17).

A federal investigation found that one children's hospital diagnosed nearly 250 minors with "early puberty;" including teenagers ages 14 to 18, well past the age that diagnosis applies to. According to the DOJ, hospitals used that code, instead of "gender dysphoria," to get insurance to cover puberty blockers.

This isn't isolated. A nationwide claims analysis found the same billing pattern in providers across the country; including right here in Georgia.

"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb… I am fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:13-14)

Pastors and parents don't need to be medical experts to ask the right questions. We need to be present, informed, and willing to protect the children entrusted to us.

A new survey of 1,200 conservative and moderate voters found that 96% say it's important for a child to be raised by an involved mother and an involved father — and 82% agree no child should be deliberately denied one.

Yesterday, the Church Ambassador Network gathered pastors and ministry leaders from across Georgia in Henry County to sit down with Sen. Brian Strickland.
