Join us this week as we begin our first series of the school year: Now & Later! We’re all making decisions now that can affect our laters (our futures) whether we like it or not and whether we realize it or not. And while many students may get this intuitively, there’s often a competing idea that what they do now doesn’t really matter in the long run. That’s why, in this series, students get to better understand the secret behind good decision-making: wisdom. Through the wisdom found in Proverbs, you’ll help students learn what it looks like to apply wisdom to their everyday decisions NOW, which can lead them to a better life and a better future LATER.

“Back to school Blessing”

Bless my paper and my pen.
Guide my spirit deep within.
Help me think and help me play,
This whole school year, day by day.

As I move from class to class,
Guide my footsteps; clear my path.
Keep my tongue to speak your words.
Let your will for me be heard.

In every subject high or low,
May God's excellence be shown!
Keep me strong to reach the prize,
To grow in grace, becoming wise.

Whether far from home or near,
May I hold God's precepts dear.
To do my best at every task;
For this blessing, I do ask.

Help my family be a part
As I lift my mind and heart.
As I study, work, and pray,
Be with them throughout the day.

Of whom much is given, much is required.
May learning be your greatest desire!

Amen

Big rains means a schedule change. Check out the details below!

If you've been outside today you may have noticed it's raining. Like a lot. And it's not stopping anytime soon. SO this Thursdays Newnan UTH adventure is being postponed!

Aqua Island is at the Callaway Gardens beach with an awesome inflatable playground/obstacle course. The trip is $45 to cover Callaway and the time on aqua island. Follow the link to register by June 25.

Stay dry!
