1. One-Sided Relationships
When one person is always taking but never giving, the friendship becomes draining. Godly friendships should be mutual, with both people pouring into each other and being a blessing.
2. Treating It Casually
This isn’t just a hangout, it’s a covenant. Kingdom friendships are spiritual assignments. The enemy targets them because they carry purpose. Don’t treat what God ordained like it’s optional.
3. Comparison
Every friend has a unique grace, calling, and season. Comparing paths breeds insecurity. True friendship celebrates, not competes.
4. No Accountability
Real friends check you, in love. If there’s no room for correction, there’s no room for growth. Accountability is protection, not punishment.
5.Lack of Prayer and Discernment
Friendship should be rooted in the Spirit. If prayer isn’t part of the friendship, you’re building without divine guidance. Discernment keeps the connection pure and purpose-driven.
