In times of loss and heartbreak Jesus tends to us. He turns our pain, brokenness, and even death into renewed life.

Martha was desperate and grieving the loss of her brother. Her community came around her family as they mourned. A few days after Lazarus' death Jesus came to see her family. Although she was angry, confused, and in agonizing grief she hung onto the hope of Christ. When He met with her, Jesus offered her truth and promise of life. He reminded her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believe, you will see God’s glory?" And she believed.

Happy Easter! We hope you cling onto Christ with faith in His promise of life. 1 Peter 2:23-25, "When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 'He himself bore our sins' in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; 'by his wounds you have been healed.' For 'you were like sheep going astray,' but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls."
