Pride Allyship
Join us for our Pride Month service.

Rainbows, often a symbol of the Q***r
community, are a spectrum of colors, and
so is our Unitarian Universalist religion a
spectrum from Q***r to straight allies
who covenant together to build the
Beloved Community. Our UU values call
on us to stop the erasure of Q***r voices.
We will hear some of those voices in art
from the Pride in Numbers project!

How do we live in a world capable of destroying itself?

This Sunday at Pacific Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, David Delk explores the history, danger, and moral weight of nuclear weapons in a time when global tensions feel increasingly unstable.

From Hiroshima and Nagasaki to Chernobyl, from modern war zones to current international conflict, the nuclear threat has never fully disappeared. What does it mean to live under that shadow? And what responsibility do we carry as human beings sharing one fragile planet?

Join us for a thoughtful and timely reflection on fear, power, peace, and our collective future.

There’s a place on the North Coast where you don’t have to pretend to have all the answers.

A place where questions are sacred.
Where doubt is welcome.
Where spirituality can look like meditation, activism, poetry, science, pagan ritual, humanism, music, grief, joy, or simply sitting quietly beside other people trying to live meaningful lives.

That place is the Pacific Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

We are a small but mighty community rooted in compassion, justice, curiosity, and connection. We gather for Sunday services, discussion circles, meditation, social justice work, music, potlucks, community care, and real conversations about what it means to be human right now.

Some of us are religious.
Some are atheist.
Some are Buddhist, Christian, Pagan, Humanist, spiritual-but-not-sure-yet, or somewhere beautifully in between.

You do not need to believe one specific thing to belong here.

What unites us is not a creed. It’s a covenant:
to show up for one another,
to keep learning,
to care for this world,
and to practice love in action.

At PUUF, we believe community still matters.
We believe kindness matters.
We believe justice matters.
And honestly? In a world that often feels disconnected and exhausting, gathering together with intention can feel quietly revolutionary.

If you’ve been searching for spiritual community but felt like you never quite fit the mold, you might fit here.

Come as you are. Really.

Sundays at noon in Astoria + online via Zoom.

As we mark the winter solstice on this longest night of the year, may we be reminded of the wonder and the potential that lies in sacred darkness. Let us turn to one another, celebrate cherished rituals, and share our wishes for the future. Doing so reminds us of the possibility that we may begin again, and renews our practice of hope.

May we find time for rest and reflection in this sacred darkness so that we may once again move into the world to live out our Unitarian Universalist values.

For all who celebrate, wishing you a Merry Winter Solstice and a Happy Yule.

In "The Spiritual Tasks of Yule," Cyndi Simpson reflects on both Yule and the Winter Solstice as a turning point—a time to pause, hold still, and settle into the darkness rather than rush past it. She invites us to reflect on what is no longer serving us and to let it go, making room for growth as the light slowly returns.

May this season offer space to breathe, clarity about what to release, and small signs of light returning.

Today we honor the lives of transgender people lost to anti-trans violence. We remember them with love, speak their names with reverence, and hold space for the grief, resilience, and brilliance within trans communities.

This day calls us to deepen our solidarity, confront the systems that cause this harm, and commit to building a world where all trans people can live safely, freely, and fully.
