Sunday, December 14, 1:15 PM: PAGAN MEET-UP AT PETER PAN MARKET, (corner of Niagara Avenue and 7th Street, Astoria). Let’s build our Yule Ritual!!! Come chat with us. All paths are welcome.

Sunday, December 21, 2025, 1:30 PM: YULE CELEBRATION AND RITUAL—songs, candle lighting, poems, readings, Yule altar. Come welcome back the Sun. The ritual will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, corner of Harrison Avenue and 11th Street, Astoria. All paths are welcome.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Sunday, September 21st, 2:00 PM: Mabon Ritual. Mabon (pronounced may-bn), also known as Harvest Home, Feast of the Ingathering, and the Autumn Equinox, is a festival of thanksgiving for the fruits of the earth, and a recognition of the need to share them to secure the blessings of the Divine during the coming winter months.

This year, for our Mabon ritual, we are looking to the lands to the north. One of our members, Veja Lahti, has ties of blood and marriage to the Sugpiak and Kenaitze tribes of Alaska, and we will join in honoring those traditions – the fall harvest of the fruits of the land, the harvest of spawning salmon, and the preparation for the long dark nights of winter. Join us on for native drumming, dancing, and spiritual meditation on the Salmon. All paths welcome!

The ritual will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, corner of Harrison Avenue and 11th Street, Astoria.

Sunday, August 24, 12:00 PM: Social Justice Picnic and sing-a-long! Come join the Pacific Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans for fellowship, food, and singing, alongside our beautiful river. Bring a dish to share, your drinks, and a blanket or folding chair (though picnic tables may be available); plates, utensils and napkins provided. Litha Summer Solstice Service led by Rhonda and Bunny. Sunday, June 15th, 12:00 PM: “Our Pagan Journey: Nature Called and We Responded.” Come join us for our Nature-Centered service and celebration of the Summer Solstice at Fort Stevens, Coffenbury Lake sheltered picnic area C. Parking is $6. Bring folding chairs for the service. Potluck to follow: please bring something yummy to share and your own drinks; plates, napkins and eating utensils provided.

Come join the Pacific Covenant of Unitarian Universalist PAGANS (CUUPs) for our Ostara Ritual! Sunday, March 23rd, 12:00 PM.

We honor the Vernal equinox. This unique time of balance between day and night. Ostara celebrates the ancient rites of renewal as the Earth turns slowly from winter to spring. As the light slowly overtakes the dark and we rejoice in new beginnings.

We will be in the Fellowship Hall of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Astoria (entrance off 11th and Harrison). Hope to see you there! For more information you can email us at [email protected]

Pacific Covenant of Unitarian Universalists Pagans (CUUPs)

Sunday, February 23rd, 2:00 PM: Pagan meet-up at Xanadu Bar (and Grill with yummy food!), 1104 Marine Drive, Astoria. Since we meet in the grill side, children are allowed. Come chat with us. Let’s talk about our 2025 quarter and cross-quarter day rituals. You do not need to be a dues-paying member of CUUPs to participate in or lead a ritual. If you would like to participate in or lead a ritual, come meet with us. All paths are welcome.

Thursday, February 27th, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM: Elder Futhark with Annie at the Breakside Brewery (1355 Exchange St, Astoria). Come learn about Runes in this free class! Annie is engaging and bright; I expect mental stimulation, knowledge and greater awareness, warmth and a good time!
