It’s wonderful to hear from Chantrol. So proud of all our church has done over the years. The Hansons deserve the recognition as they led the effort.

Dear Bob,

I’m happy to receive your email. I have never forgotten all the help you, AHCC, the church, the community that came together to help my family settled in Maryland. I was the only bread earner at that time supporting 10 members of my family. Thank you for giving them clothes, furnitures, and the support for them to start their new life in the US. They came to the US with only the clothes on their back. Now, they are doing ok for themselves. I’m proud of them. Also, I never forget my own journey to the US with $50 to start a new life as student.

I hope everyone received my email yesterday with a few photos.

Aspen Hill Christian Church version of the Pancake Race on Shrove Tuesday 2025. The losing team (Team 1) had to stand and face the winning team (Team 2) and say in a gracious and genuine tone of voice "Good job WINNERS"! What fun. Did you know the original Pancake Race in Olney, England began way back in the 1400's?

Thank you members and friends. Our "Souper Bowl" has raised lots of cans of soup for the less fortunate folks in need of food help. The cans of soup will be delivered to MUM as soon as possible.

Due to severe and dangerous weather conditions our church service will be online only tomorrow, Sunday, December 25, 2026.

Follow the directions below to access the Worship Service at 11:00 a.m.

1. Open your browser to access the internet.
2. Go to www.aspenhillcc.org
3. Click on "Watch Us on You Tube"
4. Click on Live.
5. The Service is programmed to come on at 11:00 a.m. Click on LIVE.
6. Hopefully it will open our Service. It's all "high tech" so we'll do the best we can and cross our fingers it works.
