국제전도폭발은 미국 플로리다 코릴릿지 장로교회의 제임스 케네디 목사에 의해서 1962년에 창설되어 다음과 같은 목적을 위해 현재 212개국 나라 전세계에 퍼져 사역하고 있습니다.

1. 전도폭발 사역은 평신도들을 전도자로 훈련하는 사역입니다. 단순한 강의나 교육에 그치는 것이 아니라 현장에서 전도하는 방법을 통해서 실제적인 훈련을 이루는 사역입니다.

2. 전도폭발 사역은 제자훈련 사역입니다. 평신도를 전도자로 훈련시킬 뿐 아니라 다른 사람을 전도자로 세우는 사역입니다.

3. 전도폭발 사역은 지역교회의 사역을 기초로 하여 이루어지며 사역의 열매가 지역교회의 성장에 직접적으로 연결되는 사역입니다.
