Tashi Choling Center for Buddhist Studies Established in 1980, Tashi Choling Center for Buddhist Studies is a nonprofit religious organization located in a mountain valley south of Ashland, Oregon.

For over 40 years, students have gathered here to study and practice the ancient spiritual tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism under the guidance of Gyatrul Rinpoche, a lama greatly loved for his wit, compassion, profound insight, and genuine humility.

On the seventh morning of Tashi Choling’s annual Dorsem retreat Tulku Thutop, Lama Chonam, and Sangye Khandro lead the sangha into the temple for morning practice.

On the evening of the sixth day of our annual Dorsem retreat sangha members practice the long horn after a full day of practice. We were blessed with a good refreshing rain at Tashi Choling and everyone is feeling rejuvenated.

✨Please join us tomorrow as we begin Tashi Choling's Annual Vajrasattva Retreat with Tulku Thutop, Dudjom Tersar Ritual Master, as Dorje Lopon (Vajra Master). The retreat starts May 22nd and will continue through May 31st. You are welcome to attend the entire practice or participate for a day or two as your schedule allows. The retreat will be offered in person or online via zoom. All the retreat information and registration is in the link below.
