Dear Friends, This Sunday at UCOA we planned to welcome Gangaji as our guest speaker, but due to a recent flare up of leg pain, she is unable to join our gathering in person. We are happy to announce that she has been rescheduled for September 20th. Rev. Kathy will be leading the service with beautiful musical offerings that include the talents of Jim Sitter, and during service we will offer a special made-for-us short video from Gangaji, You Cannot Think Your Way Home, followed by silent sitting.
Rev. Kathy shares that "over many years of having the honor of offering music at Gangaji's silent retreats, I was always so grateful for her invitation to rest the mind back into it's Source". Gangaji writes: "Awareness itself remains free regardless of whatever thoughts and feelings are arising in awareness. This recognition is the necessary opening of the mind that naturally unlocks the floodgates of your own inherent freedom".

The most beautiful, conscious and amazing people have found their way to our center, and together we are changing the world... it's a humble thing, but each Sunday we come together and we pray, we sing, we laugh, we cry, we sit in silence, we listen to the dharma, and we feel connected, we feel unity... and that is no small thing.. that is a worthy thing to spend our energy co-creating. Dear friends, we will be having a Memorial service for beloved Jean Houston at the Havurah, 185 N. Mountain Ave, Saturday, May 30th, 2:30 pm to 4 pm. Jean spent her life reminding people of the greatness within them. That gift did not end with her passing. It continues through all those she touched, and there are so many! Please join us to honor her life through stories, prayers, songs, and fellowship. ✨💖✨
