I’d like to thank everyone who came to the graveside service today for my sister Karen. It was encouraging to speak with many of you who came. It meant a lot to my sister Rebekah and brother-in-law Jeff and the rest of the family.

Thank you for the sweet words that many of you shared about Karen before and after the service.

I do ask you to please continue to pray for the family as we walk forward without our precious Karen.

Yesterday afternoon Ryan went to South Iredell High School for their basketball open gym!

Ryan trained the players and then finished up by sharing his testimony and the Gospel!

Praise God there were 18 professions of faith in Jesus!

Dear Friends,

Our beloved sister, Karen now sees Jesus, face to face in all of His glory. She completed her earthly mission last night and her pilgrim days on earth ended– Karen’s hope came to fruition, her faith is now by sight, and her prayers to our great God are now praises unto Him as she resides in the presence of the Lord awaiting her promised and pending bodily resurrection.

We want to thank you for every moment you spent in prayer for her needs during this difficult challenge she had to endure. She went through it all with much grace, never a complaint, and a spirit of gratitude for all God had done for her. In the midst of immense pain and suffering, she faithfully lifted praise to our Heavenly Father.

Our hearts rejoice that Karen’s joy is complete but our hearts are also broken far beyond what words can ever express.

We would appreciate your continued prayers as we navigate our lives without our sweet Karen.

Her departure for Heaven leaves an unfillable hole in our hearts and lives and we will depend upon the faithfulness of God and the prayers of others.

Arrangements for Karen’s service will be posted later on the website for Groce Funeral Home in Asheville.

Per her request, we will have only a graveside service open to all who wish to attend.

With grateful hearts for your love and prayers--

This afternoon Ryan went to North Iredell Middle School and shared the Gospel with the Football team. At the invitation there were 13 professions of faith. Praise the Lord!

Special thank to Coach Jim Nelson for the opportunity given for Ryan to speak with his team today !
