To teach, preach and reach a lost and dying generation, crossing all boundaries through the power of Jesus Christ as we take a stand for Christ and usher in the Glory of God. She began to intercede that God's plan would be fulfilled in the city. As she began to pray that God would send or raise up someone with an uncompromising word from the Lord to lead Ashevillians into the power and authority o
f God, her passion grew more intense. God began to minister to her concerning the city of Asheville. In her obedience to God’s instructions, River of Life was birthed in October 1999. The rapid growth caused the ministry to move from an old warehouse to its present location, the former West Asheville Assembly of God on Haywood Road one and a half years later. God’s favor has been upon the ministry since the beginning: from the warehouse to the present location, and very soon its future home, the dome. Since that time, the baton has been past to the new Senior Pastor and leader, Pastor Kayce Lewis who will take us to the completion of the vision that was started.
