When was the last time you felt deeply connected to creation?

On Sunday, we reflected on God’s invitation to remember that we are part of creation and called to care for it with gratitude, humility, and love.

May we move through this week with gratitude, wonder, and a renewed commitment to care for one another and for the beautiful creation we share.

We believe that every person is created in love and worthy of belonging. We celebrate the beautiful diversity of our community and affirm the sacred dignity of all people.

Pride Month is a reminder that love, compassion, and justice are at the heart of who we are called to be. We welcome people of every background, identity, and life experience, and we are grateful for the gifts they bring to our shared community.

We are especially grateful for our LGBTQ+ members, friends, and families who are part of the GCPC community. Your presence, faith, leadership, and love help make our congregation stronger, richer, and more vibrant.

When was the last time you felt connected?

Not connected to your phone.
Not connected to work.

Connected to life.

Maybe it was standing beside a river.
Walking through the woods.
Watching a sunrise.
Feeling the wind on your face.

Maybe it was years ago.

This Sunday, we continue our series REFRAMING with a simple but powerful question:

What if we were created not just to live on the earth...
but to care for it?

And what if caring for creation also teaches us how to care for ourselves, our neighbors, and our communities?

Join us this Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Grace Abounds Food Pantry. Stop by, say hello, and pick up groceries for yourself or your family. Whether you’re stretching your budget, helping care for loved ones, or simply could use a little extra support this week, we’re here for you.

Our pantry is a place where neighbors help neighbors and community comes together. We would love to welcome you.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We give thanks for those from every background, every culture, and every community who answered the call to serve. We remember Black, Latino, Hispanic, Indigenous, Asian, White, and all service members whose sacrifices helped shape the freedoms we enjoy today.

As a Beloved community , we hold their memories with gratitude, pray for their families, and recommit ourselves to building a world marked by peace, justice, compassion, and hope.

May we never forget the cost of service, and may we honor their legacy through love and care for one another.
