Today, we were blessed to welcome Bob Machen with Gideons International!

The Gideons are currently sharing God’s Word at the NC Mountain State Fair, where they expect to distribute approximately 4,200 New Testaments. What a wonderful opportunity to place God’s Word into the hands of those who may need it most!

Each New Testament includes helpful “Helps” in the front, providing Scripture references for many of life’s problems, and a GPS in the back — God’s Plan of Salvation.

Bob also challenged each of us with a simple 10-second approach to witnessing. Encourage someone to find a quiet place, put away their cell phone, and remove distractions. Then ask God two simple questions:

1. “God, if You are there, show me.”
2. “Show me that I need You.”

Do this for two weeks and see what God can do!

What a powerful reminder that sometimes a simple step of faith can lead someone to discover the truth of God’s Word and His plan of salvation. 🙏📖

Salvation cannot be purchased. It is God’s gift to us when we admit, believe, and commit our lives to Him. His cleansing reaches from the inside out.

Our salvation is so much greater than an emergency plan. Take time to ask God to help you truly comprehend all He has done for each of us through His gift of salvation. ❤️

Yesterday was a wonderful day of celebration at Mt. Zion Baptist Church as we gathered for our Homecoming Service! ❤️🏠

We were blessed to have Scott Lambert with us and are thankful for the fellowship, worship, and the delicious meal shared together afterward. Most of all, we are grateful for God's presence and the opportunity to celebrate the rich heritage and continued ministry of our church.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Homecoming such a special day! We are thankful for the past, excited for the future, and blessed to be part of the Mt. Zion church family. 🙏❤️
