On Sunday, we wrapped up our Sermon on the Mount series with a special Selah service, a time to pause, reflect, and consider what God has been teaching us over the last weeks.

Four members of our congregation shared powerful testimonies about what it looks like to be "salt and light" in everyday life, and Pastors Nicki and Jodi used bread with and without yeast to illustrate how God can use even small acts of faithfulness to make a difference.

Because this Selah service coincided with an All Church Sunday, kids joined us in worship as we celebrated what we've learned and looked ahead to how we can continue practicing the way of Jesus together.

What a way to wrap up the year.

Our end-of-year youth group party was so fun! We played games, including a triceratops showdown, trying to make each other laugh, and an Oreo challenge that proved getting a cookie from your forehead to your mouth is much harder than it sounds.

We also took time to celebrate Lex as he graduated last week. Michael shared a special tribute, and the group cheered Lex on as he heads into his next chapter.

A huge thank you to Mark and Megan for helping run games throughout the night, and to all the students who made the evening so memorable. The silly student awards may or may not have been the most competitive part of the evening.

Thanks for an incredible year of youth group. We can’t wait for summer together.

We celebrate Penny Appl and Lex Csoma who are graduating from Arvada West High School this morning. We pray God’s blessings on them both as they head to college!

Join us this Sunday at 10:15 a.m. for a Mexican brunch with a purpose!

Come enjoy great food, fellowship, and stories about the team headed to Casa Hogar Palabra de Vida in Chihuahua, Mexico this summer. For more than 25 years, ACC has partnered with this children’s home, supporting kids with care, stability, and the love of Christ.

Donations from the brunch will help offset travel costs for our intergenerational mission team as they prepare to serve, build friendships, worship, and share God’s love alongside the children and staff at Casa Hogar.

Due to the snowstorm and district school closures, Wednesday’s youth group end-of-year party has been canceled.

We’re disappointed we won’t get to celebrate together, but we want everyone to stay safe and avoid traveling in difficult conditions. We plan to fold the food and prizes into the May 20 Scavenger Hunt. Please register for that event at https://arvadacovenant.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3297492 so we have enough drivers.
