Today’s Ice Cream & Pie Social was such a wonderful time! Even with the summer heat, the occasional cool breeze made it a perfect afternoon. There is something truly special about the simple joys of a summer weekend—sharing delicious ice cream, sweet pie, and wonderful conversations with one another. Grateful for this beautiful fellowship and the blessing of walking this journey together as a community. 🍦🥧☀️

He Is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed! Hallelujah! 🙌🎺

​What a glorious Easter Sunday!
This morning, the Westminster United Methodist Church and Simpson United Methodist Church communities joined together for a beautiful celebration of Jesus Christ's Resurrection. It was an incredible joy to gather as one family.

​We were especially blessed to have our traditional beautiful cross of flowers, adorned with living blossoms. This vibrant cross served as a moving symbol of the new life and eternal hope made possible through the Resurrection.

​A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone from both churches who worked so hard on this meaningful service and to all who worshiped with us. May the joy and hope of Easter fill your life!

Westminster United Methodist Church and Simpson United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt was a joy-filled success on this beautiful, sunny Saturday! The church grounds were absolutely buzzing with happy families enjoying crafts, hearing the Easter story, and of course, the thrilling egg hunt itself. Today was truly overflowing with love and laughter—a meaningful, fun, and Spectactular celebration of Jesus' resurrection that we won't soon forget.

​Our hearts are so full of gratitude. A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible volunteers from both Westminster UMC and Simpson UMC who worked so hard to make today spectacular, and to every single parent and child who came out to share this pre-Easter joy with us. Your presence truly blessed our community today.

​Don’t let the celebration end here! Let's keep this incredible happiness and joy going straight through to tomorrow morning. We can't wait to see you all at our Easter Sunday Service to continue celebrating the Good News together as one united family in the brilliant hope of Christ. Yesterday evening, Westminster United Methodist Church & Simpson United Methodist Church family gathered for a deeply moving Maundy Thursday. Our simple community soup supper was filled with reverence and shared love, a beautiful testament to the warmth of our community.

​Moving into our Taizé Prayer Service, the sanctuary became a sanctuary of collective peace. Through quiet chants, the reading of scripture, and shared silence, we felt a profound oneness as we journeyed with the Lord.

​Our hearts are so full of gratitude for everyone who shared this sacred time with us. As we enter the quiet of Good Friday, we now look forward with solemn anticipation for the joy of the Resurrection. Let us walk this path of hope together, side-by-side, towards Easter morning.

An Evening of Candlelight, Silence, and Rest 🕯️

Tomorrow evening, we invite you to our Taizé Prayer service at Westminster United Methodist Church & Simpson United Methodist Church —a time to experience God's presence in stillness.

"For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him." (Psalm 62:5)

Lay down the busyness of the week and join us in simple, beautiful chants and deep silence to listen to the gentle voice of the Lord. It is a peaceful journey where we gather without judgment to pray, rest our souls, and grow together in faith.
