Happy Friday! While we look ahead to Sunday morning, we hope that you'll join us for breakfast, Chrisian Ed. Classes, and worship. We love seeing you at AMC with us!

Don't miss the last Third Sunday Breakfast of 2026 on Sunday mroning. Our Parables & Pickleball Life Group is sure to have great food for us from 8:45-9:15am in the fellowship hall.

We've talked a lot about the upcoming marriage conference happening on December 4 & 5 at Penn Station. We've got all the details with registration up and running on our website - www.arthurmennonite.org This is FREE OF CHARGE for all attendees and we encourage the community to take part in this as well.

There are a couple opportunities to give to those in need near and far. We can be the light of Christ through these programs:
1. Socktober - Bring new, adult-size socks to AMC through the month of October. These will be given to homeless shelters where they are most needed.
2. Operation Christmas Child - Samaritan's Purse continues to facilitate these boxes for children around the world that need school supplies and other items. You can grab a box from AMC to pack and return, or bring in small items to be put in boxes by our Outreach Commission. All boxes must be returned to AMC by November 15.

Patience is always a tough one to comprehend, we all want forward movement, action, knowing what we are doing is making a difference, but sometimes God is making a difference in you first, then you can impact others.

We've enjoyed such a beautiful week and have arrived at the weekend. It looks like it is going to continue to be wonderful. The blessing of nice weather in the Midwest, especially during harvest, is one of God's many gifts!

We've launched Socktober again this year and encourage you to donate new, adult-size socks for the homeless. These are one of the biggest needs and make a huge impact on people's lives. You can drop your socks in the blue tub in the church foyer during the month of October.

It's time to begin packing Christmas boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan's Purse sends these boxes to children around the world and we pray that each one received will feel God's love through our generosity.

Heads up - our last Third Sunday Breakfast of 2026 is next Sunday!

"Every Good Thing"
Proverbs Message Series - "Living Well In God's World"
Glen will be preaching the first of four messages from the book of Proverbs. This first message will refer to the American Dream and ask what that really looks like. Does it line up with God's Dream for us? The world is fleeting, but heaven is freeing. Solomon realized this as he wrote these words of advice in the 3rd chapter of Proverbs. Jesus says the same in Matthew 6:19-24. Living Well in God's World means embracing the good things of God instead of being consumed by the temporal things of this world.

Check it out! Our very own Ed Yoder and Rhonda Rhodes got to hang out with Josh & Jase, a pair of British creators documenting their travels throughout the U.S.

We think they did a great job helping shed some light on our local Amish community and way of life!
