The last weekend of May is here, and that means summer has officially begun. What is your favorite thing about summer? Is it the heat, the pool, the sunsets, vacations, no school, baseball, etc? No matter what you love about it, one of our favorite parts is spending each weekend with you at AMC on Sunday mornings in the summer...and all year long!
This weekend we will have lots of things going on focused around our AMC Youth.
~ Tomorrow (May 30): AMC Youth will head to Champaign for a fun evening together eating and going to an Escape Room. Think they'll get out in time??
~ Sunday morning will be a busy one with Youth Sunday and Graduate Recognitions. They'll begin the morning outside with our primary department for fun games and snacks to celebrate Move Up Sunday. We look forward to seeing the AMC Youth interacting and serving in many ways as they lead the worship service.
~ Following the worship service, we will recognize our AMC Youth High School Graduates in the fellowship hall. Stop in and congratulate them!
Worship At the Pond is coming up on June 7th. We love being outdoors for worship and taking in the beauty of God's creation. The most exciting part will be the 6 baptisms happening following the service. We are excited for these new lives in Christ and their decision to make Jesus their Lord and Savior. Praise God! We invite you to join us and be witness to their confessions of faith. Stay for our carry-in meal and play games.
Have you registered your K-8th grader for Arthur Community Vacation Bible School? Online registration closes this Sunday, but you are welcome to register in person during the week of VBS. Snowball Mountain Challenge will happen at AMC on June 8-12 (9-11:30am daily). It will be the coolest week of the summer!
AMC Family Fun Night will be at Penn Station on Saturday, June 13th and tickets are now open for family and friends! For just $10 per ticket, you'll get a taco bar, desserts, and a show by "Juggler Yoder". It's going to be a great time!
THIS SUNDAY
"Youthful Leaders" Psalms 1
Sam Miller, Minister of Youth & Family Life, will bring the message this Sunday. It will be an excellent Sunday to come and be part of what it means to move from one level to another. We often don't see that once we graduate, but it's ok to stop and reward yourself for your hard work no matter where you are in life. Come celebrate each Youth and each other!
