Arthur Mennonite Relief Sale Our mission is to raise funds to support the efforts of
Mennonite Central Committee, a world relief organization. We also have a petting zoo with pony rides.

Funds generated from the relief sale go to help those in need in the community (20%) and 80% goes to Mennonite Central Committee. The Arthur Mennonite Relief Sale raises funds with an annual event on the fourth weekend in August at the Otto Center located 1/2 mile south of Arthur, Illinois. The sale includes a mini auction Friday evening & the main auction on Saturday. Our specialties are beautifu

l, hand stitched quilts & local handcrafted wood furniture and wood items. We also have many food items for sale as well which include Pork BBQ, Peadros, BBQ Chicken, Pork Chops, ice cream, homemade pretzels, homemade cinnamon rolls & donuts. There is also a lunch stand with hamburgers, hot dogs, pie, etc. We have a children's auction as well, where your child may bid on toys & books, etc. & then use their auction number to receive a free ice cream cone. Another highlight of the sale is the Ten Thousand Villages booth that sells many handcrafted items from around the world.

Jesus, Our Messiah,

Today we remember Your sacrifice and the perfectly overwhelming love You demonstrated on the cross. Thank you for giving Your life so we could have hope, forgiveness, and new life through You.

Fill our hearts with gratitude and draw us closer to You. Help us share the good news of salvation given on the cross and through your resurrection! Let us be the light of Christ to all!

Local, handmade furniture is always stunning to see at the sale. This formica table (36x54) is a beauty! It is shown here with an 18” leaf with room for another 18” leaf as well. Some family is going to eat lots of delicious meals and make wonderful memories around this table…why not have it be yours?

As we look ahead to the Arthur Mennonite Relief Sale this weekend, we encourage you to take a moment to join us in prayer each day.

Today we focus on the reason we work so hard to put together this sale - those in need around the world and here at home.

Loving and Merciful Father,
We lift before You those whose lives will be touched through the sale this weekend. You know every need, struggle and burden they carry - whether it be illness, loss, hunger, or hardship. Wrap them in Your comfort, surround them with Your peace, and provide for them in ways that go beyond what we can see.
Let this event be more than just money - may it be an offering of love, a sign of hope, and a reminder that they are not forgotten or alone. We know that you are with us and with them.
May every gift given and every act of service bring the light of Christ into their lives.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
