Arthur Mennonite Relief Sale Our mission is to raise funds to support the efforts of
Mennonite Central Committee, a world relief organization. We also have a petting zoo with pony rides.

Funds generated from the relief sale go to help those in need in the community (20%) and 80% goes to Mennonite Central Committee. The Arthur Mennonite Relief Sale raises funds with an annual event on the fourth weekend in August at the Otto Center located 1/2 mile south of Arthur, Illinois. The sale includes a mini auction Friday evening & the main auction on Saturday. Our specialties are beautiful, hand stitched quilts & local handcrafted wood furniture and wood items. We also have many food items for sale as well which include Pork BBQ, Peadros, BBQ Chicken, Pork Chops, ice cream, homemade pretzels, homemade cinnamon rolls & donuts. There is also a lunch stand with hamburgers, hot dogs, pie, etc. We have a children's auction as well, where your child may bid on toys & books, etc. & then use their auction number to receive a free ice cream cone. Another highlight of the sale is the Ten Thousand Villages booth that sells many handcrafted items from around the world.

We've had a few days to reflect on this year's Relief Sale, and we are still overwhelmed by the support! There will be so much help given through these funds - 20% locally and 80% globally!

God's hand was in it all - through the volunteers and attendees - and we praise Him for his faithfulness and gift of abundance. We pray that these relief efforts bring glory to God!

What a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness through the Relief Sale ✝️❤️

As the sun was setting last night, our hearts were full. We saw God in every single detail - from serving together to the generosity of those that came out to support.

And we get to do it all over again today.

May Jesus Christ be lifted up in every way. Let His goodness and peace impact many lives through this sale.

We can't believe tomorrow is the 64th Annual Arthur Mennonite Relief Sale 2026. We can't wait to see everyone!

Today we want to pray over each person who enters and attends this sale.

Almighty God,
We thank You for each person that will gather at this sale. Their presence is a gift, and their support is a blessing to the cause we share. We ask that You bless each attendee for the time taken to come, for the generosity they show, and for the encouragement they bring simply by showing up.
May this event be more than a fundraiser - may it be a place where relationships grow, hope is strengthened, hearts are moved towards compassions, and the love of Christ is shared. Let every conversations, every gift, and every moment be used for Your glory and the good of others. Let this sale be the beginning of spreading love and hope to those around the world. In Jesus' name, Amen.

48 hours until we kick off the 64th Annual Arthur Mennonite Relief Sale 2026!

Our prayer today is for our amazing volunteers. This sale is not possible without the dedication and willing people that work so many different places all weekend long. We are so thankful and blessed by the outpouring of love through each and every one of them!

Lord,
We thank You for the faithful hearts and willing hands of each volunteer who help bring this sale to life. For those who have planned, organized, decorated, cooked, cleaned, served, and given their time in countless ways - bless them abundantly.
You see the work done behind the scenes all year long - the late hours and selfless acts that no one else notices. May their efforts bear fruit far beyond this event touching lives, inspiring generosity, and spreading the love of Jesus Christ to all.
Renew their strength, fill them with joy, and remind them that their labor is never in vain when done in Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
