Vine Street Christian Church will be offering quarterly communion to the residents of Gardenview West.
Our next two dates will be on September 1, and December 1.
Communion will be served in conjunction with Danny Powell’s Daily Devotions at Gardenview West, which begin at 9:30am.
All are welcome to attend and join us for this special time of devotion and fellowship.

Arthur Community Blood Drive

September 1, 2026

An American Red Cross blood drive sponsored by the Arthur Ministerial Association and The Arthur Lions Club will be held in the Arthur community on Tuesday, September 1, from 1:00pm-6:00 pm at the Arthur United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The Red Cross is asking all donors to call and/or register this time instead of just walking in if possible. Walk-ins will be accepted but the wait might be longer. One car accident victim can use as many as 100 units of blood. Be the lifeline patients need. Give blood and give life. You can make an appointment online at redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-
CROSS. Thank you for giving blood!

Here is everyone that helped Renie Willoughby celebrate her 95th birthday. Attending Renie’s celebration were Becky Harrer, Linda Keiss, Deb Wilson, Marilyn Watkins, Ann Singer, Pastor Alex, Judy Kondrup and Beth Jones.
