We have an exciting Sunday coming up! This weekend is the Andover Reunion and we invite all those attending that to come and worship with us Sunday morning. Sunday school is at 10 am and our morning worship is at 11 am. Our very special guest minister, Tony Nunley, will bring us the Word, if his health allows. Please be praying for Tony. We also hope to have special singing.
Around 1:00, we will have a Pot Luck Dinner at the Andover Community Church Center. Anyone is welcome to join us for a time of fellowship and good food, but we especially welcome those who came for the reunion.

We were so glad to see Shelby and Abbie at morning worship! They are standing here by the window installed in memory of their mother, Pam Stewart. Pam was a mighty warrior for God’s kingdom and she is greatly missed by her daughters and her Andover family.

We had a great time at Lamplight Theatre last night. Plus dinner at Golden Corral. If you didn’t get to go with us, we missed you! And look at our church shirts! Fitcon Graphics did a great job for us.

Just in time! The East Stone Gap homeowner has just finished rehab and is set to go home. Our Ramp Men had a little cooler day today for installation. Thank the Lord for small favors. Many thanks to these men for giving their time and energy to this project. Praying that the recipient recovers quickly.

Our Ramp Men are really busy! Today they traveled to West Virginia to get a ramp from this old church building. Sorry, no picture of the actual ramp. Take our word for it. Rick, Mike H, Roger, Zack, and Mike D.

Our Ramp Men have had it rough this week! They went to Tennessee to pick up a ramp bought on Marketplace. It was described as “aluminum.” It wasn’t. Made of steel, it stretched our men’s capabilities to the limit. Pretty sure most came home to soak in epsom salts! They have collectively decided that, if they ever go to pick up a ramp and it is not aluminum, they will just turn around and head home.
That being said, they left that ramp loaded in the trailer and turned around and installed it for a family in Exeter whose child is handicapped. The mother had been carrying him up and down the stairs, but that was unsafe for both of them. Now they have a steel ramp that will last for eternity unless it rusts through.
So kudos to our ramp men, who went above and beyond the call of duty this week and are probably still paying for it in the form of aches and pains. Pictured below are Roger and Zack at the pick-up site ( Roger found himself a walker) and yesterday’s crew in Exeter, on the newly installed ramp,
