Trinity Youth will be kicking off again on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 5:00 pm!

We will have a meal, a devotion, some business to discuss regarding fundraisers and events, and we'll have an activity.

All students in grades 6th - 12th are welcome and encouraged to attend. Bring a friend along for more fun! Students do not have to currently attend Trinity to participate (although we'd love it if you did). ☺️

Youth has not been forgotten!!

Due to the rise in Covid Delta numbers in our area, I am holding off restarting youth right now for the safety of our youth and our adult chaperones. I want everyone to be safe and healthy and right now I don’t feel that we can meet and continue to be safe. I’ll keep this page posted as things progress.

Hopefully everyone has been well during these trying times of the last year and a half or so.

Just to provide a quick update on the youth group of Trinity UMC:

1) Yes, youth will be starting up again soon. Probably toward the end of August/first of September.

2) Yes, as of now (August 2021), Resurrection is happening in person in January 2022 (Jan 21-23, 2022) at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN. More info will be coming about that.

3) After being in discussion with our new pastor, Timothy Robinson, and his wife Nicole, we want to try and have a 'relaunch' type of event to kick things off again. This will be planned mostly by the youth with some adult oversight.

There are a lot of great things getting ready to happen and we want you to be a part of them! You do not have to attend or be a member of Trinity UMC in order to attend Trinity's youth group. Friends are always welcome! The more the merrier. We want to help you in your walk with Christ, whether you've been traveling that path for a while or are just getting started. Watch this space for more details!

Here’s what the Resurrection shirts look like this year. If students wish to purchase one, they will need their own money. There will most likely be a booth for the band and speaker and merchandise available for those as well. Students need to bring their own spending money.

Our youth fundraiser cookbooks are currently in production! The best part is we will have them in time for Christmas and they make wonderful gifts. In each one you’ll find 150 recipes from our wonderful Trinity UMC cooks as well as many tip pages to assist you in cooking, baking, food prep, and more.

We are currently taking up pre-orders. Payment is due at the time of ordering.

The book are $10 each. Please respond here on this post or private message this page to order. You may also contact Christy Smith or order. We expect the books to arrive in the next two weeks.

We have once again been given the opportunity to work the concession stand at the VHSL All-Star Football Game at UVA-Wise on Saturday, December 15, 2018. This was a lot of fun last year and a great fundraiser for us.

Just like last year, we will need help with this event. If you are willing to help the youth, please contact Christy Smith and let her know. We will need about 8-10 people to work. Thank you!
