🧂 **RECAP: “A Pinch of Salt” – Bible CHEF** 👨‍🍳

This week, we learned that just like salt adds flavor and keeps things from going bad, speaking **truth with love** brings life and encouragement to others. Truth without love can hurt, and love without truth isn’t helpful—but together, they build others up! 💛

📖 *Ephesians 4:11–16 – Building Together*
📖 *Memory Verse: “God is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine… He does everything by His power that is working in us.” – Ephesians 3:20 (NIRV)*

🚗 **On the drive home:**
Ask your child what they learned this week!

💬 **Make it real:**
• Have you ever spoken the truth in love to someone?
• Has someone ever spoken truth in love to you?

🍽️ **At dinner:**
• How can you speak the truth in love to someone?
• Why is it important to speak the truth in love?

🛏️ **At bedtime:**
Quiz your child on this week’s memory verse!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 **Parent reminder:**
Speaking truth in love isn’t always easy. Lead with encouragement and recognize the good God placed in your kids. This builds trust and helps them receive correction. Try sharing something you love about your child before addressing any issue this week.

🥚 RECAP: “Spoiled Rotten” – Bible CHEF 👨‍🍳

This week, we learned that our hearts can be like cracked eggs… when we focus only on ourselves, it starts to show on the outside. But God calls us to something better—to put Him first and care for others so we don’t “spoil.” 💛

📖 James 3:13–18 – Two Kinds of Wisdom
📖 Memory Verse: “God is able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine… He does everything by His power that is working in us.” – Ephesians 3:20 (NIRV)

🚗 On the drive home:
Ask your child what they learned this week!

💬 Make it real:
• When you think of wisdom, what comes to mind?
• Who are some people in your life that are wise?

🍽️ At dinner:
• Who are some book/movie/TV characters that are wise?
• Where can we look for wisdom?
• What can we do as a family to put others first this week?

🛏️ At bedtime:
Quiz your child on this week’s memory verse!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent reminder:
It’s natural to be selfish—but Jesus showed us a better way. Let’s challenge our families this week to serve each other in small ways and talk about how it felt.
