The saints at gathered to worship Jesus today as they do every week in Tijeras. Last year, Vista Grande Church and First Baptist Tijeras made a gracious decision to join together as one church for the good and advance of the gospel. This body works hard to reach their neighbors with the gospel. One keystone ministry of Vista Grande is an annual summer sports camp called “Quest.” It was a joy to open God’s word with them and be shaped by Jesus through the gathered assembly of the saints. Pray for their lead pastor, Carlos Garduño, and their elders that they will continue to lead with grace and wisdom.

Mark your calendars, gather volunteers, and start your church's evangelism training now for the One-Day Mission Trip to East Mountains/Estancia Valley and Roswell! Last year, over 700 NM Baptists converged on Tucumcari and Silver City to serve the residents in the name of Jesus and proclaim the gospel to them. This year, we are praying for 2026 volunteer missionaries from our churches to do the same in the East Mountains/Estancia Valley and Roswell.

Central Association churches, would you consider sending a team of 10 to our sister churches in the East Mountains and Estancia? If each of our churches sent just 10 missionaries each, we would sent over 700 missionaries to flood the East Mountains with the gospel.

Nestled at 7000 ft elevation in the beautiful mountains of Jemez, Cuba, NM is home to Cuba Baptist Church. Cuba Baptist is a truly multi-ethnic and multi-cultural church striving to preach the gospel in truth and love to their mountain community. Cuba is at the far north end of our association, but the saints here are very engaged in associational and state convention life and work. Pray for them as they prepare to begin a search for a lead pastor. Their current pastor, Dan, and his blessed wife have served here for six years and are preparing to enter a semi-retired season of life. We thank God for loving servants like these and pray for His wisdom and provision for the future of this valuable church in a beautiful and needy community.

The believers at in Rio Rancho gathered today to worship Jesus and hear God’s Word proclaimed. Their lead pastor unpacked both the danger of sin and the great grace God toward sinners from 2 Samuel 11-12 and David’s sin of adultery with Bathsheba. These saints love to sing of grace, pray for each other, and walk following Jesus together. They are great partners in the gospel with us at

Today the saints at First Baptist Mountainair met to worship and be shaped by the Word of God. Mountainair is on the far east end of our association, but their partnership is of great help to us all. The church here strategically supports local, state, and international missionaries and is an example to all our congregations to aim to do the same. Pray for them as they seek God’s wisdom and provision for a bi-vocational pastor who can love and lead the church with biblical faithfulness and mission commitment.

Today the saints at Sierra Vista Baptist Church in Rio Communities gathered to worship Jesus, preach the gospel, and ordain their pastor, Ethan to gospel ministry. Pastors and leaders from Ft Sumner, Los Chavez, Belen and Albuquerque came to support the church in their desire to set Ethan apart for the work that God and they have called him to. What a joy it is to see local churches gather to lift one another and affirm God’s call on their leaders!

Happy Resurrection Day from First Baptist West Albuquerque ! We pray that wherever you worship from today that your church is as full of joy as this congregation today. For nearly 40 years this fellowship has sought to reach the people of Taylor Ranch and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Would you pray with them as they search for a lead pastor? May Christ bless your worship today with joy in the knowledge of him and his resurrection! He is Risen indeed!
