This Sunday we celebrate much. We celebrate parents raising their children in the Lord. We celebrate the completion of the book of Psalms. And we celebrate the One who sent His Son in our place to give us life. Won't you join us!

Some songs you listen to because it has a memorable rhythm (aka a phat beat). Other songs get stuck in our head because of lyrical rhymes that are basic but catchy.

However, for many, the enduring songs are the ones that are profound in meaning, reminding us of eternal truths or teaching us about our relationship with God and man in personal ways that have impacted our lives and drawn us closer to Christ and to one another. These are the songs we go back to over and over again.

Music is such an important part of our lives. I believe God designed it that way. As we continue through the Psalms, we take a look at what music is for and how music can, when applied correctly, encourage and strengthen our faith in Jesus.
