Heights Christian Church

Heights Christian Church Heights Christian Church wants to Love God, Love God's People and Love Serving God. Come join us for this incredible journey every Sunday morning at 10:30am!

We found out a long time ago that a church is more than just a building. A building is a place to meet—although our meeting place is a beautiful one. A church is made up of people—people like you who love the Lord Jesus Christ, who love one another, and who desire to serve our Lord in this life and in the life to come—and to reach others with the gospel message. We also found out a long time ago t

hat we're not the perfect church—none is, of course, but our hearts desire is to always reflect Jesus in everything that we do, think and say. We'd love to have you join us in this exciting adventure of becoming fully devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. The pastors, elders and congregation of Heights Christian Church welcome you to our page and to our fellowship of believers. We believe you'll like what you see.

Some of our Psalms this week focused on the words we use.

Words are powerful things. By the Word of God, the universe and everything in it was created. When used for the glory of God, words have the power to build up, encourage and lead people to salvation found in Jesus. When used for our own selfish purposes, it has the power to maim, distort and destroy the souls of those whom Jesus came to save.

Come this Sunday and find out how to discern the words we are hearing & how to use our words well.

What happens when you are pushed into a corner? Who or what do you run to? As we continue to look at the Psalms, we begin to explore the Psalms of David. When and where these particular Psalms were created gives us a glimpse of the one called "a man after God's own heart" and how we can become one as well.
