What an amazing weekend celebrating women at City Church! The annual Garden Party on Saturday morning was filled with fun, friendship, and food - while participating in a live recording of Pastor Marisa’s podcast, This Is Becoming.

On Sunday we saw moms and their families taking photos at our Photo Booth in the lobby (thanks to the lovely and talented ), and Pastor Marisa taught us from the Scriptures how God sees, chooses, and uses women in His mission. If you missed it you can catch the replay on our YouTube channel.

We love the way that God made women in His image, to reflect His glory, and we celebrate with all of the moms this weekend. You are seen, you are called, and you are chosen.

To the mothers raising children, the women aching for children, the ones who have known the deep grief of loss, and the spiritual mothers who have poured wisdom, prayer, comfort, and courage into lives they did not give birth to, but helped shape all the same.

To the moms fighting silent battles, praying late into the night for prodigal children, showing up when they feel weary, and continuing to love with tenderness and strength.

Seen or unseen, celebrated or grieving, your nurturing heart reflects the heart of God and we honor you.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with us. This Sunday at 10AM.

Baptism Sunday is the best Sunday! Celebrating with Chelsea, Glyn, and Jordan who all took their next step in following Jesus today. Wooo hooo!!!
