Why is social connection important? How to have more of it:

Wednesday Friends Day, weekly,12 Noon to 2 pm.

Research tells us. It improves our physical and mental health. Our immune system is stronger, we are less susceptible to illness, supports the cardiovascular system, and boosts our levels of well-being.

From the CDC (Centers for Disease Control):
-Staying connected to others creates feelings of belonging and being loved, cared for, and valued.
-Social connections are important to our mental and physical health.
-Being connected to others helps protect against serious illness and disease.
-People with stronger social bonds are more likely to live longer, healthier lives.

Everyone is welcome to join in on WEDNESDAY FRIENDS DAY, our unstructured weekly get together. Play cards, meet new people, greet your friends, chat, do puzzles, or crafts, whatever you like.
