Singing the Self — A New Series Starts Sunday

Walt Whitman had the audacity to open one of the greatest poems ever written with five words that most of us would never dare say out loud: "I celebrate myself."
Not "I tolerate myself." Not "I'm working on myself." Not "I'll celebrate myself once I fix that thing I've been meaning to fix since 2019."

I celebrate myself.

This Sunday we launch a brand new four-part series — Singing the Self — inspired by Whitman's magnificent "Song of Myself." And we're starting with the question that might just change everything for you:

What if you are already — right now, as you are — enough?
Unity teaches that every human being is made in the image and likeness of the divine. Not some humans. Not humans who have their act together. All humans. Which means the sacred isn't somewhere you're trying to get to. It's something you already are.
We'll bring in the science (spoiler: you are literally made of stardust), the wisdom traditions, and a guided meditation that will help you actually feel what it means to celebrate your own existence.

Whether you've been coming to Unity for decades or you wandered in because the parking looked good — this one is for you.

Are You Ready for Pride?

This year we are showing up — with love, inclusion, and impact. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to represent our community at the Albuquerque Pride Event on June 13th.

This is a powerful opportunity to offer healing centered approaches, best practices, and tools for ongoing support and advocacy to those who need it most.

Volunteers will serve in two hour shifts running from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Whether you can give two hours or the whole day, your presence matters. If you feel called to serve in this way, please join us for a volunteer meeting following service on May 31st in Room 4. Come ready to make a difference.
