It’s one thing to say you trust God. It’s another thing to put your weight on what He said.

Abraham’s story is full of moments where God asks him to move without knowing where he’s going, wait without knowing how long, and trust without being able to control the outcome. Maybe that’s where faith gets real for us too.

Where are you having the hardest time trusting God right now?

This week we begin a new series called 10 Toes Down with a message called “Bet.”

Sometimes faith isn’t having every answer. Sometimes it’s knowing enough about God to say, “I’ll put my weight here.”

It’s easy to call Jesus “Lord” on Sunday, but what happens Monday morning? What happens when Jesus gets involved with your relationships, your money, your plans, your anger, your ambition, your habits—or the part of your life you’d rather keep behind a locked door?

In this message from our Mind the Gap series, we wrestle with a simple but challenging question: If Jesus is Lord… what actually changes Monday morning?

Following Jesus isn’t about inviting Him to bless the life we’ve already designed. It’s learning to trust Him enough to give Him the final say, and that kind of surrender isn’t something to fear.

The One asking for your life is the One who already gave His for you. Whatever you place in the hands of Jesus, you are placing in scarred hands.

So here’s the challenge: What’s one thing that gets to be different tomorrow because Jesus is Lord?

What did the wilderness leave inside of you? That is the question Pastor Caroline Canfield brought to East Gate this last Sunday, and it is one worth sitting with.

Drawing from the story of Israel standing at the Jordan River in Joshua 1, Pastor Caroline challenged us to recognize the difference between what the wilderness taught us and what it left behind.

Survival instincts that once protected us can become spiritual prisons when we carry them into the new season God is calling us into. Your pain does not have naming rights over your future.

The river did not disappear before Israel crossed. Someone simply had the courage to put their feet in the water.

Maybe that is where you are today. You do not need another revelation. You may just need to obey the last thing God told you to do.

If you missed it, go back and watch. God is not simply bringing you out of something. He is bringing you into something.
