❤ ❤ ❤ For 26 years, Deacon Tran stood among us at St. Mary Magdalen. He served at the altar, proclaimed the Gospel, comforted those in need, celebrated with families, and answered God's call to serve His Church.

Now, we come together to remember him, to give thanks for his life and ministry, and most importantly, to pray for the repose of his soul.

🙏🏼Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

📌📌📌 We gave it one more push to keep tackling our Parish Census. Another round of emails went out TODAY (9/1/26) around 2:10pm.

If you don't see an email, don't worry! We may have an old email address on file for you.

Starting this weekend, we will be jumping into Phase 2: QR codes will be available for you to submit your information.

Our goal is simple: we want to make sure every member of our parish family is counted and connected. And, as always, if you have any questions or need help, please call the parish office or send us an email. We are here for you!

📍 Event held at Magdalen Place | Abbeville, LA
💰 $100 per guest

🎶 Kitty Cleveland, singer/songwriter, inspirational speaker, and artist from New Orleans will guide the morning with two spiritual reflections, meditations/singing, and will lead us in a beautiful rosary.

🎨 After lunch, Michelle Morein, artist, owner & founder of Sacred Treasures, will lead a beautiful painting experience with live music. All art supplies are included! All canvas are pre-drawn.
