🕊️ Our Gen 1 community meeting the day before Pentecost 🔥

Together we spent an evening of praise & worship, with takeaways on Charisms and the importance of developing them to serve others!

The evening ended with a few energetic rounds of basketball (with many awesome shots!), sumptuous dinner and great company 🏀🧺

So grateful for this community in Christ ✝️❤️

✨ Gen145 Quarterly #7 : Encountering Holiness – St Carlo Acutis ✨

🕊️ What a grace-filled session at our latest Gen145 Quarterly Gathering on 16 May 🙏🏼

Through a heartfelt worship and session on holiness inspired by the life of St Carlo Acutis, we were reminded that sainthood is not reserved for a select few, but a calling possible for all of us in our everyday lives — especially through a deep love for the Eucharist.

We had a time of adoration of the Eucharist where families came together in prayer before Jesus, encountering His love and presence in a special way.

We also witnessed a beautiful milestone as we commissioned our Community Connect #1 — after 9 months of journeying together. Strangers when they first came to Gen145, they have committed to walking closely together in faith, friendship and mission. What a beautiful reminder of how God builds authentic community when hearts are open to Him ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us. May we continue striving for holiness together, one step at a time 🙏

Our Gen 1 community gathered for our monthly meeting this April, as families learnt to identify and understand our charisms 🎁

We also celebrated a milestone birthday (we shan’t divulge the figure! 😝) amidst wonderful fun and feasting! 🥳

✨We pulled an Uno Reverse on sin at our monthly Gen 1 community meeting 🔥

We learnt from our speaker Freddy Gomez about Holiness in the Family, namely identifying B.R.I.C.K or blocks to God’s graces for our families:
- Busyness
- Resentment
- Ignoring God
- Communication breakdowns
- Keeping pride

and then battling them with G.R.A.C.E!:

- God time
- Respectful words
- Acts of service
- Choosing forgiveness
- Eat/enjoy together

The teaching was followed by a time of reflecting and praying together as a family 🙏🏻

Through all our hectic schedules and responsibilities, it’s still important to make time for God and for our families! 🙏🏻🕯️🫶

✝️❤️Community Connect1

After 9+ months of walking together, praying, growing, and building authentic friendships, our CC1 families have completed their Explore+Embark discernment journey and are now ready to Embrace as a new Connect Group under Gen 145 Families.

It’s been really encouraging to see how these 6 families started out as strangers, simply desiring community. What began as small steps has grown into something meaningful — a space of koinonia, where they journey with God and with one another.

In the midst of the busyness and challenges of life, we’re reminded how important it is for families to not walk alone. Having a community to journey with, to support, encourage, and pray for one another, makes all the difference.

Along the way, we’ve seen hearts open, friendships deepen, and a growing desire not just to journey together, but to welcome others and be a light to families around them.

As this newly formed Connect Group prepare to be officially commissioned at our Quarterly on 16 May, we invite you to keep them in your prayers — that they will continue to be Spirit-filled, mission-driven, and courageous in saying “yes” to where God leads.

Here’s to new beginnings, deeper community, and lives lived with purpose. ✨

Our Gen 1 Community recently gathered for Easter Vigil Mass, not just to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, but also to witness the Rite of Initiation for one of our community members! It was indeed incredibly heartwarming to experience the power of community as we all came together for this joyous occasion.

Our newly baptised and confirmed member shares “The Gen 1 community has been a constant source of strength and encouragement on my journey to Baptism and Confirmation. Through our monthly gatherings, the heartfelt sharing and collective prayers have deepened my desire to stay close to God, reminding me that I never have to walk this path alone.”

❤️ Gen145 Quarterly Gathering – 14 February ❤️

On Valentine’s Day, we gathered not just to celebrate love, but to encounter Love Himself.

This quarter, we reflected on the Sacred Heart of Jesus — God’s love for us on full display. Jesus peels back every covering to reveal His intimate, vulnerable Heart, inviting us to simply receive.

In a world where burnout feels normal and exhaustion is worn like a badge of honour, we were reminded of His promise:

“Remain in me, as I remain in you.” (John 15:4)

To “remain” speaks about active passivity — actively doing nothing except allowing ourselves to be loved by God. Letting His love pour over us from the Sacred Heart. Letting Him fight for us.

“The Lord fights for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)

Why does God love us?
Because we are His beloved. And there is nothing He desires more than to love us unconditionally.

May we carry this truth into our homes and into the seasons ahead — resting deeper in His love ❤️

🍃 BREATHE RETREAT✝️ Gen145 Families Ministry X LiGHT Youth & Young Adult Ministry Collab, 4-7 Dec 2025

What a grace-filled weekend at Breathe Retreat 🌬️✨ Gen145 had the privilege of serving as sessionists, worship leaders, intercessors — storming the heavens for our youths and standing in the gap for every young heart seeking the Lord.

It was especially moving to witness a full-circle moment: More than 20 years ago, many of us encountered God at our own Youth Conversion Retreat, and now, our own children step into the same sacred space — encountering His mercy, His healing, His call.

The retreat theme, taken from Psalm 51:12 — “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation” — unfolded so powerfully. And truly, we saw joy being restored, hearts softening, lives opening to God’s merciful grace and generations experiencing the faithfulness of God.

So grateful for the privilege to witness, to serve, to pray, and to see God moving in the next generation. 🙏🔥

May He continue to breathe new life into every youth, every family, every generation.
