You never really know what a family is carrying.
The smiles.
The family photos.
The children laughing in church.
Sometimes, behind them are sleepless nights, silent tears, unanswered prayers and parents simply trying to make it through another day.
This is the story of Daniel and Cheryl.
Not because their story is unique, but because it's more common than we realise.
There was a season when they felt like they were losing themselves, their marriage, and even their joy. They wondered if they still belonged in church when every Mass felt exhausting, every outing felt overwhelming and every day felt like survival.
Yet even in their darkest moments, God hadn't left them.
He met them through people who listened without judgement, friends who refused to let them walk alone, and a community that welcomed their family just as they were.
Healing didn't happen overnight.
Life is still beautifully messy.
The children still move around, cry, and chatter during Mass.
The laundry still piles up.
The hard days still come.
But now, they no longer carry them alone.
If your family is in a difficult season, let this be your reminder:
🤍 You don't have to pretend you're okay.
🤍 You don't have to have it all together.
🤍 You don't have to walk this journey alone.
Every family needs encouragement.
Every marriage needs support.
Every parent needs a community that says, "We're saving you a seat."
If this story resonates with you, share it with someone who may need the reminder today.
And if you're looking for a faith community where your whole family belongs, even with restless children and messy lives, we'd love to welcome you to our next CSC Gen 145 Quarterly Gathering on 1 August to meet other . ❤️
