On 24 May 2026, we joyfully celebrated the Feast of Pentecost, a day that reminds us of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church’s mission to proclaim Christ to the world.

We were blessed to have Monsignor Stephen Yim celebrate the Mass for us on this special feast day. As one parish family, we gathered in prayer and thanksgiving, asking the Holy Spirit to renew our hearts, strengthen our faith, and set us on fire with His love.

Pentecost is especially meaningful for us as the Church of the Holy Spirit. It reminds us of who we are called to be: “A community led by the Holy Spirit to serve all and to make Jesus known.” It also invites us to live out our parish mission, “To form loving disciples empowered by the Holy Spirit.”

As we celebrated this great feast, may we continue to open our hearts to the gifts of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide our parish community in faith, service, and joyful witness. May we be renewed as disciples who encounter Christ deeply, love generously, and go forth to share His presence with others.

“Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.”

May the fire of Pentecost continue to burn brightly in our parish, leading us to worship, to serve, and to make Jesus known.

There is nothing so great as the Eucharist.

As we celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, we are invited to draw nearer to the mystery of Christ’s Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. In the Eucharist, Jesus gives Himself completely to us — Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

Join us on 7 June 2026 for the celebration of Holy Mass, followed by a Eucharistic procession, as we honour and adore our Lord truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Date: 7 June 2026
Time: 5:00 PM
Mass with Eucharistic Procession

May our hearts be renewed in love, reverence, and gratitude for the greatest gift of all — Jesus Himself in the Eucharist.

On 23 May, our parish community came together for a beautiful Gala Dinner, an evening filled with joy, thanksgiving, and fellowship.

It was a blessed occasion where many priests, friends of our priests, parishioners, families, and youths gathered as one family in Christ. The night was marked by warmth and gratitude, as we celebrated not only the occasion itself, but also the gift of faith, friendship, and community that God has blessed us with.

We were treated to wonderful performances by our priests, our youths, Family Life Ministry, and many others who generously shared their talents with the community. Each performance brought its own joy, creativity, and heart to the evening, filling the night with laughter, encouragement, and shared memories.

More than just a celebration, the Gala Dinner reminded us that the Church is not only a place of worship, but also a home where we journey together as brothers and sisters in Christ. As we look back on this special evening, we give thanks to God for the priests who shepherd us, the ministries who serve so generously, and every person who contributed to making the night meaningful.

May the spirit of unity, gratitude, and joy continue to grow in our parish community, and may all that we do lead us closer to Christ.

Over three prayerful evenings, our parish community gathered for Theme: Breath, Water, Fire — a Triduum to the Holy Spirit, as we prepared our hearts for the great feast of Pentecost.

Each evening began with the celebration of the Holy Mass, with Fr Kamil as the celebrant, drawing us first to the altar where Christ gives Himself to us in the Eucharist. From there, we entered into a time of Eucharistic Adoration, remaining with the Lord in silence, prayer, and worship.

We were also blessed by the reflections and sharing of Fr Adrian Danker, who guided us to contemplate the Holy Spirit through the images of Breath, Water, and Fire. Through these themes, we were reminded that the Holy Spirit gives life, renews our hearts, purifies us, and strengthens us to live as disciples of Christ.

Like the apostles gathered in the Upper Room with Mary, we came together to wait upon the Lord and to ask for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. As we journey towards Pentecost, may our hearts remain open to the Spirit’s gifts, so that we may be renewed in faith, hope, and love.

We ended the triduum with fellowship, giving thanks for the gift of prayer, the Eucharist, and the communion we share as one Body in Christ.

Come, Holy Spirit. Fill the hearts of Your faithful, and kindle in us the fire of Your love.

Blessed Pentecost to everyone!

As we celebrate Pentecost, we give thanks for the Holy Spirit’s presence in the life of the Church and in our parish community.

This year also marks the 65th Anniversary of Church of the Holy Spirit. It is a meaningful time for us to look back with gratitude on God’s faithfulness, and to continue living out our parish vision: to be a community led by the Holy Spirit, serving all and making Jesus known.

We are also reminded of our mission: to form loving disciples, empowered by the Holy Spirit. As one parish family, may we continue to grow in faith, serve with love, and bear witness to Christ in our daily lives.

On 1 May 2026, we celebrated Fr Cary’s 34th Sacerdotal Anniversary on the Feast of St Joseph the Worker.

It was a joyful and grace-filled celebration, made even more meaningful by the presence of many priests who joined us in giving thanks to God for Fr Cary’s priestly ministry.

As we reflected on the life of St Joseph, we were reminded that holiness is often found in hidden and ordinary places. St Joseph never sought attention, yet his quiet fidelity shaped the life of Jesus. In the same way, the priesthood is often lived through hidden acts of love: praying for the people, celebrating the sacraments, listening patiently, comforting the sick, burying the dead, and carrying the parish in the heart.

“Priesthood, like the life of St Joseph, is often hidden work. Much of it is not visible, but all of it matters before God.”

We give thanks for Fr Cary’s 34 years of faithful service, for the lives he has touched, and for the grace of Christ made present through his priesthood. As he prepares to move to another parish community, we send him forth with gratitude, prayer, and love.

Congratulations, Fr Cary. May St Joseph the Worker continue to intercede for you, and may the Lord who began this good work bring it to completion.

We are blessed to have Minnie from our Parish Office share her testimony with us. In her story, we witness how the Lord meets us in our deepest shame, grief, and surrender, and reveals the fullness of His mercy and healing love.

What was once marked by fear, sorrow, and a sense of unworthiness became, by God’s grace, a place of peace, restoration, and hope. Through confession, prayer, and a powerful encounter with the Lord, Minnie came to know that no sin is too great for His mercy, and no wound is too deep for His healing.

May her sharing remind us that our God is truly living, relentless in love, and ever ready to restore the broken-hearted. When we surrender everything to Him, He gives us everything.

In this blessed season of Eastertide, as the Church continues to rejoice in the victory of the Resurrection, we give thanks for our priests and deacon who have so faithfully journeyed with us through Holy Week.

In their prayer, service, preaching, and presence, we have seen our shepherds in action, leading the faithful through the solemn beauty of the Triduum and helping us enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

Through their ministry, they have brought comfort to the weary, reverence to the liturgy, and hope to the hearts of many. Their witness reminds us that the Risen Lord continues to care for His people through those who serve Him with generosity and love.

As we continue in this joyful season, may the grace of Easter remain alive in our hearts, and may we give thanks for the shepherds who help lead us ever closer to Christ.

We are blessed to have Jake from the Evergreens Ministry share his testimony with us. In his story, we witness how the Lord meets us in surrender, washes us with His mercy, and gently clears what is clouded within our hearts.

What begins in weakness, tears, and uncertainty can become a place of deep peace when placed before God.

May his sharing remind us that the Lord is never far away, even in the moments when we feel most weary or unworthy.

He still heals, still restores, and still reveals His love to those who open their hearts to Him.

On 4 April 2026, we gathered for the Easter Vigil, a night of radiant hope and deep joy in the life of the Church. As the light of the risen Christ broke through the darkness, we were reminded once again that the Resurrection is not only something we remember, but a living promise we are invited to share in.

It was also a beautiful and grace-filled moment as our RCIA candidates received Baptism and were welcomed into the family of God. Before the gathered community, they stepped forward in faith and surrendered themselves to the mercy and love of Christ. It was moving to witness these souls reborn in Him, washed clean, made new, and drawn into the heart of the Church.

In that holy liturgy, there was both celebration and wonder. We rejoiced not only because Christ has risen, but because His victory continues to touch lives even now. The Easter Vigil became for us a glimpse of heaven’s joy, where sorrow gives way to praise, and where the love of God makes all things new.

As St. Augustine wrote: “We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song.”

May the joy of the Resurrection remain in our hearts, and may the light of Christ continue to lead us ever closer to Him.
