True Faith | Spiritual Fruits Series (Part 09)

Martin Luther – a key figure in the Great Reformation – wrote in his Preface to the Epistle of St. Paul to the Romans, “Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that a man could stake his life on it a thousand times.”
And Timothy Keller would have certainly agreed – he said, “Faith is not the ability to do something for God; it is the willingness to step aside and let God do it for us.”
But such a faith is NOT natural for us – our natural response to painful times of trouble is to depend on ourselves. However, for the child of God, it is our Heavenly Father’s will that, in every situation, we should live by faith. Join us, as we continue our study of the fruit of the Spirit, we are going to be dealing with the subject of, “true faith”.
