In 2020, we celebrated our Parish Feast Day from our homes — united in faith, yet physically apart. Through the uncertainty of those days, God remained faithful, guiding our parish community with grace, hope, and love.

Over the last six years, we have witnessed how the Lord has unfolded His plans among us. We have grown through challenges, rejoiced in blessings, welcomed new faces, and strengthened the bonds that make us a parish family. Looking back, we can only give thanks for His providence every step of the way.

As we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi this week, we are reminded that the Eucharist remains the source and summit of our life together. It is here that Christ gathers us, nourishes us, and sends us forth to be His presence in the world.

🙏🏻 Happy Feast of Corpus Christi. May we continue to be a parish that walks with God, lives in communion, grows in unity, and finds lasting peace in the Eucharist.

In the busyness of life, God continues to call us to deepen and renew our relationship with Him.

Our upcoming Parish Retreat themed “Encounter God in Prayer, Community and Service”, helps us to focus on these three areas as we journey together as one parish family.

Come with an open heart and allow the Lord to meet you in prayer, strengthen you through community, and inspire you for service.

Come and join us for the BSC Corpus Christi Carnival 2026 on Sunday, 7 June, from 9am to 2pm. It’ll be a day of joy, food, games, and good company for the whole family! Come hungry, come curious, and come ready to make memories. Tickets will be sold at the carnival itself. See you there!

In preparation for the celebration of Corpus Christi, we will be holding a Triduum from Wednesday, 3 June to Friday, 5 June, followed by our Parish Feast Day Celebration on Saturday, 6 June.

This year, we will also be celebrating the First Holy Communion of our catechism children alongside our Feast Day celebration. The evening will conclude with a Eucharistic Procession of the Blessed Sacrament.

We warmly invite all to join us in these celebrations as we come together in prayer and thanksgiving.

🌟 Today we celebrate the feast day of St. Damien of Molokai, an SS.CC priest who is a true beacon of love and compassion! Known for his selfless dedication to the lepers of Molokai, he embraced those marginalized by society, demonstrating the power of faith and service. Let us be inspired by his example to bring Christ to our neighbours, especially to those in need and to live our lives with courage and compassion. 🙏✨

Heavenly Lord,
we rejoice in the life of Your missionary servant, Rev Fr Anthony Hutjes, who has spent 90 years walking in Your light.

You have been his guide, his strength, and his song.
Bless him now with renewed hope, gentle rest, and enduring joy.

May the seeds he has sown in faith continue to bear fruit for generations to come. Keep him close to Your Sacred Heart.
