Elder Bruce Lockhart urged us to reflect and ask ourselves whether the resurrection is real to us, and how it shapes our relationship with the Father - establishing the covenant and giving us the possibility of a new, intimate relationship with God. What does the empty tomb mean to you?

Read Ang Lee Luang’s reflection on what it means to be strengthened by Christ’s grace:

“All of us have someone we find it difficult to love. The human tendency is to love those who are loveable or love the people who are like us or like us.
I remember struggling to love Person K. She’s demanding, irritating, takes people for granted, unreasonable and unteachable. It is so difficult to love her.

One day, during my time with the Lord, God convicted me that I need to love her. But how? As I struggled and prayed through, the Lord answered, “Begin with prayer for her.” I obeyed. Through praying for her daily, God enabled me to see her as He sees her and love her by showing her kindness and patience. After some time, I responded to her in kindness and patience.

When someone speaks harshly to you, our human tendency is to snap back. But because you are being transformed by Christ and desire to live like Christ, you choose to give a soft answer, or silence, instead. This is God’s grace empowering you to respond in gentleness.

Strengthened by grace in Christ for Christian Living is about reflecting Christ’s love and character in our daily actions. It transforms our hearts, influences our relationships, and equips us to face challenges with hope and resilience.”
