For the next stage of the St Stephen's Tamahere hall renovation - exterior work - we have been blessed to be included in the work schedule of MMM New Zealand MMM NZ (Mobile Mission Maintenance New Zealand) a faith-based charity that connects volunteer tradespeople and DIYers with Christian ministries needing property repairs, renovations and maintenance.
Here’s a photo of progress at the back of our hall yesterday; MMM builders Howard and Elliot (at right) with some of the community volunteers assisting, James Stu and Edsel.
Peekabooing out the empty kitchen window space are Judy, Trish and Val, some of church catering team members who are committed to the very important work of feeding the workers for the approximately three weeks of the project.
