A message from the Mayor

A pre-emptive Regional State of Emergency has been declared for Waikato Region, effective immediately.

The declaration enables our Civil Defence teams to act proactively if required and respond quickly.

Please continue to get prepared, plan to stay home tomorrow, and check our page for updates.

Mayor Tim Macindoe has a message for Hamiltonians.

Therefore after much thought, we have decided to cancel tomorrow's services Sunday, April 12 and postpone our AGM. Your safety is our priority right now.

We will now hold the AGM next Sunday, April 19, immediately following the 10:00 AM service. Please stay safe and take care of one another.

Kia haumaru - be safe.

Blessings

Vicar Andrea and Reverend Pam

Beautiful day today!

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

We had 69 in our whare karakia today to celebrate the resurrection of Īhu Karaiti.

9 of our tamariki and rangatahi, our future leaders performed an impromptu play about the meaning of Easter. They only had one hour notice and nailed it!

3 were awarded with a certificate from St Aidan’s Parish Hamilton who is affiliated to The Royal School of Church Music. Each of the choir members have carried out what is required to achieve this level.

Hari ARANGA - Happy Easter 💜🙏🏾

Ash Wednesday - The First Day of Lent

The Collect:
Almighty and everlasting God, who hatest nothing that Thou hast made and dost forgive the sins of all those who are penitent; Create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, may obtain of Thee, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness; through Jesus Christ our Lord who liveth and reigneth with Thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
~ 1928 Book of Common Prayer (p. 124)
