Calvary Chapel Hamilton Calvary Chapel’s supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Sunday Service
⏰10:30AM
📍White Rose Chapel - 75 Cook Street, Hamilton East, Hamilton We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ. We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His agape love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.

✨Midweek Encouragement from our Pastor✨

Father of mercies and God of all comfort.
God the Father could have been known as the Father of just about anything, and yet He is the Father of Mercy. God the Father could have been the God of just about anything, and yet He is the God of all comfort. These are not the typical things you remember someone by.

Mercy and comfort are given when needed. Or, put another way, we only need mercy and comfort when we are in trouble or hurting.
I do not need mercy when everything is going well. I do not need comfort when the skies are clear and there are no issues in life.

God has chosen to be known for what we need when times are rough. He has chosen to be known as one who will give mercy and comfort to those who need it, whenever we need it.
If you need mercy or comfort, call on the name of Jesus.
If you need mercy and comfort, call on the one known for them.
He is here for you! And remember, He is the God of all comfort.
Nothing is too big or too small for God; he can comfort us in everything.

God bless and hope to see you on Sunday.
Pastor Jake.

✨Midweek Encouragement from our Pastor✨

Sometimes I feel like I have a veil on my face. Or maybe it is not so much a veil as it is dirt and muck and simply rubbish from work and the world. At times I feel like I am covered in filth because I have simply been in and amongst the world. That muck and mire can block our view of the Heavenly Father.
I wish I had never gotten dirty, so to speak, but that is not reality.

To think we can keep from getting dirty or having a veil on our faces is to be naive and miss the fact that we live in a fallen world in a sin-tainted body. So the question is not how we keep from getting dirty; the question is what we do when we realise we have dirt on our face. Same thing I tell my children, at dinner time: wash up. We turn our gaze upon Jesus.

We turn our eyes to The Lord.
We read His word and are washed by His word.

My encouragement to us this morning is to take a moment today and turn your gaze to Jesus. Pause for 10 seconds and think of His goodness. Read our favourite Bible verse.
Take some time to allow the Lord to remove the veil and see Him face to face, because that is when He does the transformation in our lives.

God bless and I hope to see you on Sunday.

Last night, our church had the privilege of hosting Amir Tsarfati from Behold Israel, who shared a powerful message on "The Unchanging God." He reminded us of the importance of standing firmly on the unchanging truth of God's Word and using it as our ultimate source of wisdom, knowledge, and direction.

As Scripture says:

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." — Hosea 4:6.

Throughout the evening, we encountered a few minor challenges. Yet, as always, the Lord was faithful. By His grace and His covering, every obstacle was overcome, and the preaching of God's Word continued without interruption. To God alone be the glory.

A heartfelt thank you to Amir Tsarfati and the Behold Israel ministry for faithfully proclaiming God's truth and for blessing our church with your teaching.

Thank you also to everyone who attended. We are grateful for the overwhelming response, and we apologise to those who were unable to join us, as the event reached capacity and sold out very quickly.

God bless you all. May we never grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9).

To God be the glory.
