FINANCIAL DOMINION SERVICE WITH PASTOR DUMISANI
Financial Dominion: Divine Preparation of the Vessel
Financial dominion is having control over your finances and understanding how to use them according to God's principles. All wealth belongs to God, and we are simply stewards entrusted to take care of what He gives us. When God gives you wealth, He is entrusting you with a responsibility. As a good steward, you should not allow wealth to control you; instead, you must have dominion over it.
Before God entrusts you with greater wealth, He first changes and prepares you. You cannot properly control wealth unless you are transformed.
1. Spiritual Transformation
The first transformation must take place spiritually. You must give yourself to God and align your heart with His purpose and His kingdom. God first touches your spirituality because your relationship with Him determines how you handle what He entrusts to you.
2. Mindset Transformation
Your mind must be renewed. For God to entrust you with His wealth, your mindset must change. You need to think differently about money, wealth, stewardship, and your future.
3. Transformation of Habits
There are habits that can keep a person in the same position. Therefore, your habits must be transformed. You need to cultivate good and godly habits that will help you manage wealth properly and sustain what God gives you.
4. Knowledge of Kingdom Principles
You need knowledge and understanding of God's principles concerning wealth. Wisdom and understanding are necessary to build and establish what God gives you. You must know how to position yourself and what to do when you have money.
5. Discipline
Financial dominion requires discipline, especially discipline in giving and managing what you have. You must be faithful with both little and much.
6. Align Your Targets With the Kingdom of God
Your goals, plans, and targets must be aligned with God's kingdom. Even the seeds you give should be aligned with God's purpose and what He is doing.
7. Increase Your Capacity
You must increase your capacity to manage wealth. As God increases you, your ability, wisdom, discipline, and capacity to handle greater resources must also increase.
8. Relationships
The relationships you have also matter in your journey towards financial dominion. The people around you can influence your mindset, habits, decisions, and direction in life. Choose relationships that sharpen and help you grow.
Dominion Over Money
You must have dominion over money and not allow money to become your master. Money can cause a person to worship wealth instead of God. If you are not faithful with worldly wealth, how can you be entrusted with true riches?
Your attitude towards money reveals where your heart is. Therefore, you must remain faithful, responsible, and focused on God.
Be Content
Contentment is also important. Do not fail to appreciate what God has given you because you are focused on what other people have. When you are never satisfied and constantly compare yourself with others, money can begin to control you.
Financial dominion is not simply about having a lot of money. It is about being transformed, prepared, disciplined, faithful, wise, and having complete control over wealth without allowing wealth to control you.
