"...Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:"

Of late, I have realised that the greatest limitation of man is himself. It is not the devil nor is it the world, it is man against himself. Sadly, this barrier that we create for ourselves not only affects how we live, it also largely affects our perception of God and how we behave towards Him.

We debate with God's divinity based on our angle of being natural. We come before God with the limitations, rejections and failures that we have faced in the world and because of that fail to see that He has no limitations. Your own thoughts can be too natural and stand as a stronghold towards what God can do for you and through you.

The Lord is your strength and He teaches His children to war and to profit as our scripture says and He also teaches you to profit (Isaiah 48:17). So don't limit God. Come before Him with a clear mind, don't set limits of what He can do. Allow Him to do everything He so wishes to do with your life.

PRAYER.
Father, here is my life. I have set no boundaries for you, be free with me. May my thoughts never be a barrier to you nor my actions. Sweet Holy Spirit, train me to never limit your hand. May I never approach God with solutions already. In Jesus name, amen.

Among the many roles of the Holy Spirit, one we rarely mention is Him as the Searcher. As a child of God, this is vital.

The secret to your dominion in any area of life is searching out that which is hidden in God for you (Proverbs 25:2). This is where the Holy Spirit comes in.

You must partner with the Holy Spirit in His role as Searcher. Only then will He show you what God has hidden for you, not from you.

PRAYER:

Dear Holy Spirit,

Today I choose to walk with You in partnership. I don’t just want You as my ever-present help — I need You as my Partner. I desire to search out that which is hidden in God for me, and only You can help me find what no one else can. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
